In an effort to correct the echo I have asked two companies to give us an assessment of our current acoustical conditions and to make recommendations to improve the speech intelligibility within it. This year, OLF qualified 71 runners from school and parish for the finals! These are prayerful, ecumenical events that take place annually across the United States and in many foreign countries on the first Sunday in October. All employees and those volunteers who have unsupervised, ongoing access to minors or vulnerable adults are required to attend. This 3 hour program will teach you how to help prevent child sexual abuse. Protecting God s Children was written and developed by Virtus, a program developed by the National Catholic Risk Retention Group. You ll learn: *Facts and myths about child sexual abuse; *How offenders gain access to children; *Warning signs to look for in children, or adults; *Actions to take when you notice warning signs. Our shelter season commences October 5th and we are looking forward to hosting our homeless guests on Monday and Tuesday nights from now until March 31. Our start up needs include: cough drops, individual packages of Kleenex, foot powder and disposable razors. We can also use paper towels, plastic spoons and disposable coffee cups.
