and the desserts will be judged for presentation, taste, and creativity. We are in need of about 10-15 more desserts so that there will be enough for all the guests.

Or to give online and track your gift, CLICK HERE CHILDREN S MEDICAL CENTER CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING Trinity is once again providing caroling for cancer patients confined to their floors and the Christmas Tree lighting Thursday, December 1 at 5:15 pm. This is a great opportunity to extend the love of Christ through Christmas carols to families and their loved ones. We will meet in the lobby of Children s at 4:45

5 pm. You ll get song sheets and instructions from our liaison. There are refreshments and activities for everyone and Santa will be there too. The Trinity Mission Committee provides an important opportunity to pray for current, specific needs for our global and local ministry partners every weekday by subscribing to the TPC Mis- sion Prayer list. This will be a fun and creative time of fellowship with others. Lunch will be provided. Please contact Denise Wichlan (denise.wichlan@trinityplano.org) if you are able to attend on a particular day. CHRISTMAS ANGEL TREE Show the love of Christ to those in need by partic- ipating in our annual Angel Tree. Trinity is sponsoring adults and children from Em- brace, Real Options, Cristo Rey and a few local families. The tree is located in the Narthex. This year each tag has two angels. One angel has the appropriate infor- mation such as age, gender, desired gift and if wrapping is necessary. The other an- gel has a prayer request. We would like to cover our angel tree recipients with prayer. Simply take an angel from the tree, sign your name on the list next to the angel num- ber taken, shop and pray! Gifts should be returned to the church with the numbered angel attached (you keep the prayer request angel) no later than December 11. 7 MEN'S SKI TRIP Dates: Thursday Feb 2 Sunday, Feb 5 Location: Monarch Mountain, Colorado Schedule: Thu Feb. 2: Drive to Salida, CO. We will carpool, leaving early in the morning, splitting the fuel cost. Fri-Sat Feb 3-4: Ski all day. We will all ski a few runs together in the mornings and then divide up into two groups: (1)guys who want to ski black/double black slopes; and (2) guys who want to ski blue/green slopes. We will eat lunch together, and then in the afternoons we will repeat the same process. Sun Feb 5: Drive back to Dallas. Lodging: Rooms are already reserved at Silver Ridge Lodge, Salida, CO, approx. 20 minutes from the slopes. Single Room: ~$75 per night Double Room: ~$50 per night per person Lift Tickets We will individually purchase lift tickets at the slopes. Any hard core skiers who would like to drive up with Mike, please call him on his mobile: Register here EXTENDING THE GOSPEL TO THE WORLD Ministry update from the Rowan s: MTW/RUFI, Georgia Tech University. The young lady, Yan, I have been meeting with for one year has expressed an interest to hear Bible stories. The plan is to tell her stories straight through the Bible from beginning to end. However, we met for the first story about a month ago and since then obstacles (tests, illness, etc.) have come up from her side as well as mine that have prevented moving on to the second story. The first story was well received. Pray that those obstacles will be removed and that we can move on through the Bible. A couple, Fred and Cindy, who hosted Chinese students this fall, have come forward and offered their home and support for a Bible study every other week on Sunday nights with the Chinese students. We have approached several other couples to join our group to help share the load. Please pray for Fred and Cindy as we work together, and that Karen and Walt and Bill and Jenny will join the group. Please pray for hearts to be reached during the upcoming holiday season and that many students would choose to attend. Glenn continues to meet with Cody, Yi Wen, and, hopefully, continue to meet with Ying Ping, Yu Tao and others to study the Bible each week. We had colds and sinusitis recently. Pray for complete recovery. Mary Ellen s best friend of 40 years recently passed away. Also, please ask for resolution and forgiveness in a family rift. You all are a joy and inspiration to us. Our Father is so good to have given you

She is working full time again but needs prayer for her energy levels which is related to her digestive issues. Denise Wichlan and her recent bout with seizures. Pray for adjustment to her medication that it will be effective and with minimal side effects. CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR Ilana Lemke's mother, Claire who has leukemia. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, clarity of treatment and healing.

Pray continuously for God's provision to sustain this ministry. Pray for Realizing True Hope Ministries (RTHM), ministering to survivors of abuse and their loved ones: Pray for God to provide a co-leader to help teach studies and train new leaders.

11 Pray for our ability to wait and trust during this time when the demand for help exceeds helpers. Pray for God's peace to be with those who are currently seeking help. Pray for Real Options for Women: PRAISE REPORT! Thank you for praying for Justine. She came to Real Options wanting to abort and was shocked to find out she was 16 weeks pregnant. Justine has since left her abusive relationship, moved in with a caring friend and is seeking prenatal care! Praise God for this life saved. Please pray for Kenya. After her first visit at Real Options, she was considering adoption. However, after following up, we believe she has broken up with her boyfriend, and now says she wants to abort. Please pray God would intervene quickly! Pray for Louisa. She is in an abusive relationship and dealing with depression. Her patient advocate was able to share the Gospel with her and Louisa committed to abstinence! Pray she will follow up with one of our professional counselors. PRAISE REPORT! From October 2015 to September 2016, Rich and Kayla spoke to 18,670 students during 678 presentations! Praise God for 180 Degrees and the profound impact it is having. 180 Degrees is growing and we need extra help. Interstate Batteries has graciously offered a $20,000 matching grant, but we have to raise our portion by the end of the year. If you are interested in helping us with this endeavor, please contact us. MISSIONS Realizing True Hope Ministries - Pray for the ladies participating in a Bible study that has just concluded. Pray that they will experience God moving in the midst of their circumstances and for peace as they decide what, if any, action they want to take. Tim and Jenny Martin, TEAM, Japan - Pray for Tim's sermon in Japanese on Psalm 27: Nov. 27 at Azumino Family Chapel and Dec. 11 at Abundant Life Church.
