October 31 st, 2017 marks 500 years since Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses criticizing abuses within the Catholic Church and identifying the Biblical principles behind his critique. That action set in motion a chain of events known as the Protestant Reformation, which some call the most significant event in western Christianity. We will discover that Luther, whose words, Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong, but let your trust in Christ be stronger shocked the world of his time, still has insights that can strengthen faith today.video presentations will help put the readings into historical perspective. No outside reading required and each class will be self-contained. So come for one or all Facilitated by Rev.
