Help Those In Need During the Bad Weather: Learn more about where UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) is currently responding to disaster, how they are working with partners, conferences and churches to provide immediate relief, and ways you can help at the following link: percent of your donation goes to help those in need! New Class: The Historical Jesus Continues Meeting Wednesdays, 1:30 3:00 p.m. Come and learn things about Jesus you never knew plus some historical background. This is one of the Great Course studies. We ll watch the video and talk about it and learn together. No homework, no prep needed. Just come, soak it in and learn. All are welcome to this class. Questions? 7 Send Ruth Ebert a Card on Her Birthday: Since early December 2017, Ruth Ebert has resided at the Fairfax Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Main Street in Fairfax. Ruth's 93rd birthday is Thursday, October 18th. We hope many of you will wish Ruth a happy birthday. Come sponsor a car (decorating is optional) and be a part of this fun Fall event. Saturday, October 27 th, 4:00-5:30 PM. Tell your friends, invite your neighbors, and BE a part of it. Beginning this week, we will be taking "reservations" so we can know how many cars plan to come and give out candy. If you did it last year, we hope you will come again. This is a great way to get to know our neighbors and fellowship in the community. Do you or your business have something we can use for a raffle? Ideas are welcome. Come to Sacred Space for a moment of conversation & a little rest from the hustle and bustle of life or simply a place to be still.
