T" S/' Today is Transfiguration Sunday as the paraments and some of the music reflects. Carol Tate was scheduled to preach today on the Transfiguration, but her husband, K.C., has taken ill and she needs to be with him. Tres Adams will be preaching on the Parable of the Sower as told in Luke 8:4-15. Together we will explore Jesus mission to the world and how we as followers of Christ are called to take part in this mission. We will also joyfully celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. The text has been traced to a Jesuit community in Münster in the seventeenth century. F. Melius Christiansen was the founder of the St. Olaf Choir of St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota.
