2 Beloved, As we continue this sermon series, God Always Answers and we change the Pastor s Pen into congregational testimonies, I pray for two things: 1) you are encouraged by our testimonies and 2) you come to realize the diversity in the meaning of answers. The following is the testimony of Kyle Richards: God has answered so many prayers in my life; I'm so blessed to praise Him. One of the more spectacular has to do with me being born with kidney disease; this was one of the biggest tests for myself and my family. As I grew older, the demands of my burden grew, until I eventually ended up on dialysis at the age of 29. Not knowing how I was going to handle my new lifestyle, all I could do was turn to prayer and God. Romans 9:15 says, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. It took nine years but thankfully in 2013 my prayers were answered and I received a kidney transplant. God's faithfulness is real! My blessing came at a moment when I had all but put it out of my mind, but for the grace of God and his wisdom, I probably would not be here today able to share my testimony of how God always answers prayer! Lastly, please consider becoming a donor, you never know how you might be the way God answers someone s prayer. (Pastor Lacey) This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of him.
