2 Stewardship Ministry Team Thanksgiving Our theme for Stewardship this year has been Living and Giving in Gratitude. As I reflect on Faith United Methodist Church and my many reasons for gratitude, these come to mind: Salsa that rapidly sells out--produced from tomatoes and peppers from the Garden of Weedin Faith Friends Learning Center with a wait list because parents know children s needs for love and guidance are met here Uplifting music at all worship services and especially at our recent Musicians of Faith event An Office Ministry that reflects a warm welcome when the phone is answered, and when visitors are greeted Pennies for Paraguay helping children in disadvantaged circumstances get an education (since 2001) Women and men who walk to raise money and awareness of the problem of human trafficking Staff that demonstrates the love of Christ every day Friendships and caring connections experienced at Faith Church This list merely scratches the surface of the breadth of ministry at Faith. You can surely add many more from your experience ways you feel gratitude for blessings, ways you see God at work through Faith Church. Thus far 162 commitment cards have been turned in to support the mission and ministry here. I am grateful. It s not too late to submit your commitment. Commitment cards are available near the exit doors and in the church office. You may also complete an online card: or scan the QR code. Jan Baker, Chair of the Stewardship Ministry Team
