6 THE SEQUOYAH SENIORS TRIP to the Cumberland County Playhouse to see Church Basement Ladies is Thursday at 2:30 p.m. The church bus will leave at 11:00 a.m. with pick-ups at Westminster at 11:15 a.m. and West Hills at 11:30 a.m. The cost for lunch and the musical is $30. YOUNG ADULTS (self-defined singles, couples, and parents) are going bowling on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Family Bowl! Please let Matt know by tomorrow if you re interested. Children are welcome. HOLY WEEK & EASTER SERVICES: At times our journey of faith takes us through the joyous Palm Sunday streets while at other times it makes its way down the more solemn paths toward Golgotha. Join us as we celebrate Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday (8:30 & 11:00 Worship Services); the Last Supper and His betrayal and arrest on Maundy Thursday (dinner and service with Communion at 5:30 p.m. in Barron Hall); His trial, humiliation, and crucifixion through The Seven Last Words of Christ on Good Friday (Noon in the Chapel); and His Resurrection on Easter Sunday (6:30 a.m. Sunrise Service at Hunter Valley Farm; 8:30 & 11:00 Worship Services in the Sanctuary). Childcare is available for infants and toddlers on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. A NEW EIGHT-WEEK GRIEF CARE GROUP begins on Monday, March 28. Featuring video instruction and participant discussion, Grief Care offers help and hope to those who have lost someone they love either recently or several years ago. It is meaningful at any stage of life and there is also a benefit to participating in the series more than once. Please tell anyone you know who might be in need of a grief support group. MARATHON CHEERLEADERS ARE NEEDED to help man a cheer station for Knoxville Marathon runners on Sunday, April 3 from 7:00 a.m. until about 9:30 a.m. Our station is on Cherokee Boulevard, and you can park at the church and be shuttled over in the church van. To sign up, please call the church office at or diddlecpa@aol.com. This is a great activity for youth groups, Sunday school classes, or Bible Study groups!
