Hymn No. 478 * PRAYER OF CONFESSION (In Unison): Almighty and Everlasting God, as our nation pauses to remember those who have served our country and have given their lives for freedoms we enjoy, we shutter at the fact that we do not remember nearly enough. Significant moments move quickly out of our consciousness and names we thought we would never forget eventually pass out of usage. Such is also the case with the stories of our faith; indeed, for a while they are fresh and new, they help provide meaning and purpose for our lives, but then we forget. By your grace, Merciful Lord, help us to remove the dust from your story of salvation and enliven us with your Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen. * SILENT CONFESSION

In preparation for our youth mission trip to an orphanage in Belize at the end of June, we re collecting new or lightly used solid black shoes (with no writing) for children s school uniforms. Casual, Crocs, or dress shoes are all acceptable. Also, new or used baby clothes (0-36 months) will be received.
