6 WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP this week will feature Brown Bag grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, spinach salad, rolls, and dessert. The catering line opens at 5:30. SEQUOYAH SENIORS TRIP to WindRiver for a tour of the property, a pontoon boat ride on Tellico Lake, and lunch at the Top of the Hill Grill is Thursday. Participant will depart from SHP at 10:30 A.M. and return between 1:30 and 2:00 P.M. Lunch is $10. Call to register. YOUTH PROGRAM STAKEHOLDERS MEETING will be held on Thursday at 6:00 P.M. in The Loft. All who are interested in the future of our youth program should attend. SHPC SEPTEMBER DECLUTTER DAYS are Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until noon. Volunteers are needed to help remove old items not being used and generally straighten and clean the wonderful space we are charged with maintaining. MINNOWS DRIVERS are needed on Saturday from noon to 1:00 P.M. (from Church of the Savior on Weisgarber) to deliver groceries to two to four needy families in Knoxville. A FLU SHOT CLINIC, sponsored by UT Health Center Pharmacy, is scheduled on September 27, 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. The form to print and complete ahead of time is available on the church s website. Bring your insurance card. Whooping cough, pneumonia, and shingles vaccines will also be available. MOVIE ON THE LAWN: Finding Nemo will be shown on Friday, October 6, at 7:00 P.M. on the front lawn. Bring your own blanket and/or chair and non-alcoholic beverages. Popcorn will be provided. In the event of rain, the movie will be shown in Barron Hall. STEPHEN MINISTRY IS STARTING a new training class in January For anyone interested in this ministry, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 17, at 7:00 P.M. in the Fowler Conference Room. BRRRR! Donate your used coats (all kinds and any size) to KARM s annual Coats for the Cold Drive. Bring coats to the Fowler Conference Room between October 16 and November 11. Volunteers will again be needed to help sort, hang, and rack the coats at every KARM Stores location. Come join the fun and help make this drive the biggest and best ever.
