The annual Advent event will take place on Tues. Dec. 6th at 7 p.m. in Christ the King Chapel at the University. The Service of Nine Lessons and Carols was developed in late 19th century England as a prelude to the Christmas Mass at night & tells the story of the Incarnation from the fall of Adam to the birth of Christ. The Choirs, directed by Professors Nicholas Will & George Melhorn, will perform traditional carols & musical pieces. PETER The Bishop will celebrate the sacrament of confirmation at St. Peter at the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, April 23, Confirmation will be celebrated for 5th grade students. Candidates for Confirmation are those who have been attending Catholic school or participating in the Parish School of Religion or in a homeschool program approved by the pastor since the reception of First communion. You may obtain the Confirmation Participation Form either from the parish web site ( or from the Parish Office. The Participation forms must be submitted to the office by Dec. 7th. In the coming weeks, additional information will be provided regarding the parish preparation program for our candidates Dead Theologians Society: Come join high school aged teens in a night of the Rosary, Adoration and Pizza! DTS (Dead Theologians Society) is a program for teens who wish to learn about the lives of the saints and be inspired to live out the faith.
