Williams Center, sponsored by Students for Life-Value Outreach. It is free & open to the public. Unplanned tells the story of Abby Johnson who worked at Planned Parenthood for 8 years until she was asked to assist with an abortion. Becoming pro-life & eventually converting to Catholicism, Johnson now works tirelessly for the pro-life movement & is the founder of And Then There Were None, a ministry for former abortion clinic workers. Ashley Bratcher, the actress portraying Johnson, will be available to answer audience questions after the screening. Shortly after being cast, Bratcher discovered that she herself had nearly been aborted but her mother changed her mind in the clinic. Father Huffman and Father Greer First Communion / Confirmation The registration forms that were included in the bulletin for First Communion (May 5, 2019) and Confirmation (June 15,2019) are due. 4 Parish Book Club The next meeting of the Parish Book Club will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the church hall. We will be discussing Part II: On the Man Called Christ of G. K. Chesterton s The Everlasting Man. All are invited. Catholic Faith Formation PSR Classes have started for second semester at the Aquinas Catechetical Center on Lovers Lane on Wednesdays: Catechesis of the Good Shepherds 3:30 to 5:30pm Faith & Life (Grade 1-5) 5:45 to 7:30pm The Edge (Junior High) 5:45 to 7:30pm All are welcome to register for the 2nd semester! The Dead Theologians Society (DTS) meets regularly every 3rd Thursday of the month unless otherwise noted. All high school age teens and college age youth are invited to attend. Through the saints of yesterday, the Dead Theologians Society inspires the youth of today to become the saints of tomorrow. The next meeting will be Thursday, Jan 24th, from 7pm to 8:45pm. DPSC Thanks to all of you who have already pledged to the 2018 Diocesan/Parish Share Campaign. As of January 8, 2019, 145 families have pledged $74, to the 2018 campaign. This amount puts our parish over our goal of $50, by $23, This amount and all future pledges are being returned to St. Peter Parish. Please remember that we need this rebate money to help with our regular expenses. Una Voce The Steubenville chapter of Una Voce is sponsoring a potluck for all St Peter s parishioners and visitors on Sunday, January 27th, in the church hall immediately following the 12 o clock mass. All are invited regardless of which mass you attend. Please bring a dish to share. Students and others unable to bring any food should feel free to attend as well. Come enjoy the fellowship! Monforton will be offering a Respect Life Mass and Candlelight Rosary to pray for the Legal Protection of All Human Life. It will take place on January 15, 2019 at 6:00pm at Holy Family Church in Steubenville. Mark your calendars now and join us in this special time of prayer for the unborn!
