CONFIRMATION AT ST. PETER The Bishop will celebrate the sacrament of confirmation at St. Peter at the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, April 23, Confirmation will be celebrated for 5th grade students. Candidates for Confirmation are those who have been attending Catholic school or participating in the Parish School of Religion or in a homeschool program approved by the pastor since the reception of First communion. You may obtain the Confirmation Participation Form either from the parish web site ( or from the Parish Office. The Participation forms must be submitted to the office by Dec. 7th. In the coming weeks, additional information will be provided regarding the parish preparation program for our candidates. Registration is open for 26th Annual conference on Promoting Healthy Attachments to be held On Nov , Oglebay Resort & Convention Center in Wheeling, WV. The conference is coordinated each year by the Office of Family & Social Concerns (Catholic Charities) and may be of particular interest to parents, educators, counselors, social workers & nurses. The book club will meet on the 1st floor of the former school building. Samaritan House is looking for donations of green beans, boxed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pie crust, yams, corn, stuffing, gravy and pie filling (fruit or pumpkin w/evaporated milk) for our Thanksgiving basket hand outs.
