Registration forms are available in the front vestibule and side entrances of the church and at the parish office during regular office hours In order that our priests better serve you, especially at the time of baptism, marriage, or a funeral, it is most helpful if you are registered and participating in our parish community. APTISM: If you are seeking baptism for your infant B to 5 year old, we ask that at least one parent be registered at St. Clare for six months prior to baptism. ARRIAGE: The bride and/or groom must be M registered and actively participating in the parish for at least three months. Then, a six-month preparation program is required. Please call the office for further information. ELIGIOUS EDUCATION: We offer religious R education classes for children beginning with the first grade and running through high school. It is such a blessing to be representing the youth of St. Clare Church in this our 7th World Youth Day. We will be carrying a book of your intentions to the World Youth Day Mass with our Holy Father in Rio De Janeiro. Please, keep them in your prayers! Do you remember Fr. Guerrini? Fr. Roddy Guerrini was an Associate Pastor at OLPH from 1981 through He is celebrating his 50th anniversary as a priest at 11:30am Mass on Sunday, July 21st at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Since many of our St. Clare Parishioners were once parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, or attended school there, they have extended this invitation to us. Young Adult Ministry Theology on Tap Summer Series for Young Adults Theology on Tap, a program of RENEW International. CHILDREN: Would you help a new student who needed help? Why or why not? TEACHERS NEEDED FOR FALL CLASSES Teachers will be needed for Elementary R. E. classes on Monday Older Communion and Saturday Second grade and Older Communion. Please call for further information and to volunteer. So far, we have had no volunteers for these classes. E. office. These Bibles contain the entire Old and New Testaments. They have very colorful illustrations of different Bible stories. There are 2000 pages within this Bible with helpful hints for parents to talk with their children about the stories. The cost is $20.00 cash or check only. CLARE S SENIORS ROCK OUR YOUTH CENTER EACH TUESDAY AND THURSDAY AFTER THE 9AM MASS Our seniors adjourn to the Youth Center after 9am Mass where they play pool, dominos, knit/crochet, use the computer lab, have coffee and goodies, solve the world s problems or just sit and visit with one another. Our Knit Wits and Happy Hookers meet on Tuesdays to make blankets and hats for several non-profit organizations that serve those in need. You don t need an invitation. Queen of Angels Foundation: Celebration of Our Lady of the Angels, Saturday, September 14, in Los Angeles The Queen of Angels Foundation is sponsoring a celebration in honor of Our Lady of the Angels.
