FETE DE LA ST. JEAN BAPTISTE The Centre Franco-Americain is this year celebrating Fete de la St. Jean Baptiste June 17 th at St. Anthony Parish, 172 Belmont St., Manchester, NH. Festivities begin with Mass at 4PM celebrated by Bishop Peter Libasci followed immediately at the St. Anthony Community Center with a buffet banquet. We will honor our Franco-American of the Year, Mr. Maurice A. Demers during the evening. THE ANNUAL PENTECOST CELEBRATION Will take place at Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester on June 3, Praise and Worship will begin at 5pm followed by the Vigil Mass of Pentecost at 6pm. All are invited to attend and participate in this great evening as the Church Commemorates the 50 th Anniversary of the Charismatic Renewal Movement in the Catholic Church. Fr. John Grace will be the principal celebrant and Fr. Marc Montminy will be the homilist accompanied by many priests and deacons of the Diocese.

4 St. Anthony of Padua 2017 PEEKING INTO RELIGION During this month of May all the students have learned about the role our Blessed Mother plays in our daily life. They became familiar with the Rosary prayers and the song of Immaculate Mary and recognized her as our constant intercessor. On May 16 th our whole school also attended the Consecration of Mary with the Catholic schools of New Hampshire. This event, conducted by Bishop Peter Libasci took place at the Fisher Cats stadium. The Rosary prayer, the Procession of Mary and her Crowning, allowed us to understand that we are a part of the Body of Christ in preparing his Kingdom on earth. The 6 th graders are studying the journey of the Israelites to the Promised Land and how every day brings opportunities to experience God s presence. They too, will be able to move closer to the Promised Land as their graduation date approaches. We wish them to continue their spiritual journey in the company of our Sweet Savior and his Blessed Mother and pray for many blessings in the next chapter of their life.
