4 PAGE 4 St. John Vianney Parish July 16, 2017 CONSTRUCTION NEWS Commemorative brick pavers can be preordered starting today as a fundraiser for our new church building. They will be sterling grey bricks set in a staggered pattern on a walkway in front of the temporary church tent leading toward the new church building. The bricks will be set in sand to facilitate new additions and the continuance of the pathway in future years. These commemorative brick pavers will not only provide a way to remember loved ones but also a way to be remembered by future parishioners and visitors to our new church building. Throughout this week, work crews will continue framing and sheathing the exterior walls of the new church building. Exterior wall sheathing not only strengthens walls but also enhances structural energy efficiency. Additionally, workers will continue laying underground conduit for audio-visual equipment, security and power. Please continue to keep the crew members in your prayers as they work in excessive summer heat. RISE AGAIN Capital Campaign Our new Church is beginning to take shape. Now is the time for everyone s support in helping to pay for our new Church! Please visit the Church website to make a pledge or a payment. You can also visit the parish office to make your donation, or place it in the bright pink envelope at church. Statements are mailed monthly.
