3 Everyone is invited to the Thanksgiving Day Liturgy, Thursday, November 23 at 8:30 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church. We gather to give thanks for our countless blessings and pray for and remember those who are less fortunate. As in the past, the St. Vincent de Paul Society is asking that you please bring nonperishable food items to the Liturgy. There will be containers into which you may place your donations. This food will be distributed to the needy during the year. For those who wish to offer a financial contribution to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a collection will be taken during the Mass. 8 Terry Bolduc, Director OFFICE: The St. Vincent De Paul Society, in conjunction with Families Formed in Christ, invite all parishioners to a Special Event on Sunday, November 19th! Immediately following the 11:30am Mass, we will put one of the Corporal Works of Mercy Feed the Hungry into action. Everyone especially all children is invited to participate in assembling Thanksgiving Food Baskets that will be distributed to those in need. We ask ALL parishioners to assist us in gathering one particular item for these Thanksgiving food ba skets Coffee! Plea se consider purcha sing a 1 pound can or bag of ground coffee and leave it in the Thanksgiving containers that will be in the gathering space the weekend of Nov. 18/19. Thank you! To assist the St. Vincent De Paul in their ministry, we will also raffle off a full Thanksgiving food basket at 2:30 in the church basement, donating all proceeds to help keep the parish food pantry stocked. No sign-up is needed for this event! Just come to Montminy Hall after the 11:30am Mass on Nov. 19th and put your discipleship for Christ into action! We look forward to seeing you all there!
