Sarah Green Prayer of Confession (unison) Have mercy on us, O God, in your loving-kindness. In your great compassion, cleanse us from our sin. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Do not cast us from your presence, or take your holy spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of your salvation and sustain us with your bountiful Spirit. Through Jesus Christ our Redeemer, Amen. Kyrie: Hymn 602 Holy Lamb of God Ya Hamalallah Silent Prayer * If you are able, please stand.
2 Assurance of Pardon (responsively) Leader: Come let us return to God. Leader: Unison: We have been broken, but God has healed us. We have been stricken, but God has bound our wounds. Offering envelopes and prayer request cards are located in the pew pockets for your convenience. Donations may be made online through our website. Cards will be collected with the offering.) Offertory Lord of the Small Dan Forrest (b. 1978) The Chancel Choir Praise to the Lord of the small, broken things, who sees the poor sparrow that cannot take wing, who loves the lame child, and the wretch in the street, who comforts their sorrows and washes their feet. Praise to the Lord of the faint and afraid, who girds them with courage and lends them His aid; He pours out His Spirit on vessels so weak that the timid can serve and the silent can speak. Praise to the Lord of the frail and the ill, who heals their afflictions, or carries them till they leave this tired frame and to paradise fly, to never be sick, and never to die. Praise Him, O praise Him, all ye who yet live, who ve been given so much and can so little give, our frail, lisping praise God will never despise: He sees His dear children through mercy-filled eyes. * Doxology (Hymn 610, v. 5) Azmon To God all glory, praise, and love be now and ever given by saints below and saints above, the church in earth and heaven. * Prayer of Dedication Prayers of and for the People The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. * Hymn 821 My Life Flows On How Can I Keep From Singing * Benediction Postlude Postludium in D Major Moritz Brosig ( ) Kevin Graf, organ 3
