3 Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, Welcome to Sacred Heart Church! It is a blessing to have you join our worshiping community as we celebrate the Feast of All Saints. Your presence and prayerful participation lift our spirits. May the Risen Lord strengthen our faith through the Word proclaimed and the Bread of Life we take and eat. Thanks for joining us! As you can see, the memorial frames have been hung on the walls of our Church. Each frame lists those buried from Sacred Heart in each year since our founding in During the month of November, our Wall of Remembrance reminds us of those parishioners who gave life to our Parish community in years past and invites us to lift them in prayer. Our prayer is an expression of gratitude. These men and women of faith laid the foundation of this Parish that we continue to build upon. At our Noon Liturgy, a new frame will be hung, listing parishioners who died this past year. Please remember them in prayer during the month of the Holy Souls. Next Sunday, you are invited to our School s Open House. Mrs. Celie Magee, our Principal, our teachers and our Home and School Board will host a Come and See for families seeking a Catholic education for their children. I invite you to visit our school and learn about the educational experience provided by our school staff. Sacred Heart School exists because of your faithful support. Come on over from 1:00pm til 2:30pm! Check out what s happening in our Parish school! Vocations, priest vocations, will be highlighted next weekend as our Archdiocese initiates CALLED BY NAME. The vocation program seeks to identify young men who, in your eyes, would make a good priest. During each Mass, the Priest Celebrant will share his vocation story. You will be invited to name a young man in our Parish community who exhibits the qualities and character desired in a vocation to the Priesthood. CALLED BY NAME cards will be in the pews If you wish to recommend someone. Thanks! Be Well! God bless, Fr. McKee Many thanks for the bags of food last weekend!! You continue to outdo yourselves!!
