3 Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, Welcome to Sacred Heart Church! I rejoice in your presence as the Sacred Heart worshiping community celebrates our Eucharistic Liturgy for the 30 th Sunday in Ordinary Time. We are blessed through your prayerful participation. May this sacred time nourish your faith and lift your spirit. Thanks for joining us! Wow! We have come to the final days of October, with November 1st, All Saints Day, and November 2nd, All Souls Day, this coming Thursday and Friday. Check today s bulletin for Mass times on All Saints Day. Meet a few Saints on Wednesday at 1:00pm in Church, as our First Grade class, in Sacred Heart School, present profiles of their favorite Saints. Since our 75th Anniversary, All Souls Day has taken on a more prominent place in our Liturgical celebrations. You will observe this in the frames, naming the deceased of each year, hanging on our Church walls. A new memorial frame will be hung on the Wall of Remembrance on Friday evening at our All Souls Liturgy. Those buried from Sacred Heart Church since November 2, 2017 will be named and prayed for during the Liturgy. Our Wall of Remembrance recalls the faithful who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. They are the parishioners who built and maintained this Church of the Sacred Heart over 91 years I hope you will be able to join us Friday at 7:00pm in Church. Stop over Everett Hall afterwards for refreshments. Next Sunday, Sacred Heart School will host its annual Open House. I invite you to visit our school from 12:30pm - 2:30pm. Any children Pre-K through first grade are invited to come forward when the priest invites the children to come forward. The children listen to the readings of the Sunday liturgy in the St. Katharine Drexel Room and they return to the Church during the Offertory Procession. Help us keep connected to Parishioners who are not able to join us at Mass!
