BAPTISMS: Baptisms will be held on the 2nd & 4th Sunday at 1:30PM with the exception of Holy Days. Pre-Baptism class, will be at 3:00 pm every 2nd Saturday of the month in Church. RITE of Christian Initiation for ADULTS (RCIA): The RCIA is the process the Church uses to form and inform those who want to inquire about the Catholic faith. This process is for those who have never been baptized, baptized adults needing Confirmation and Holy Eucharist, and those of other faiths who feel called to become Catholic. Is God calling you? Parishioners over the age of 18 should register independently of their parents. It is necessary to be a registered parishioner for at least 3 months in order for us to provide testimonial letters. Many of us are diligent in our planning, making sure things are progressing smoothly, then disaster strikes, we don t get the result that was intended. An unforeseen problem arises. Many times we may respond negatively. Why me? I did everything right! Here s the thing God has a different and better plan in store for you. Thank You for your generous support of the Trinity Dome collection. Your donation will bring to completion the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, our church, America s Catholic Church Bishop s Annual Appeal Ambassadors for Christ As baptized Catholics, we are all Ambassadors for Christ. Like the first disciples, we are sent into the Lord s vineyard with a mission of bringing hope and goodness to our world. Some things are possible for us as individuals, but some need the combined efforts of many. The 2017 Bishop s Annual Appeal is an opportunity for us to come together to serve as Ambassadors for Christ. By contributing to the life of the Church through our support of the many and varied diocesan ministries, we reflect our commitment to evangelization, priestly vocations, religious formation for our youth, assisting the poor, and so much more. All of the money donated goes to these and all of the pastoral and charitable ministries mentioned in the Appeal brochure and none is used for administrative costs. Thank you for your generous support. To date, the Development Office has received pledges totaling $45, and payments totaling $41, from 234 parishioners. This represents 82.6% of our $55,000 goal. Cemetery dumpsters are for cemetery use ONLY, not for personal household trash. Fences, hedges, coping, edging, curbing, enclosures, ironwork, wires, seats, vases, urns, posts, steps are prohibited on cemetery plots/ property. Articles such as shells, rocks, stone chips, bottles, cans, mulch, glass receptacles, Styrofoam crosses, statues & all other decorative non-religious objects will be removed from cemetery property without notice. Outlining of graves or memorials by stripping a border of sod or outlining the grave with metal frames, stones, concrete blocks, etc. is not permitted. The planting of evergreens, trees, shrubbery, rose bushes, large bushy flowers, vegetable plants, etc. of any kind is strictly prohibited and will be removed without notice by cemetery personnel. American flags with its holders must be placed next to the headstone of each grave and not by the VA marker with the exception of two weeks prior to and and then two weeks after Memorial Day. These rules among others are based on Diocesan Cemetery Rules. Please take a ride to Holy Cross or Resurrection Cemeteries to see the difference. Please adhere & respect these rules for the general order and cleanliness of our parish cemetery.
