3 Nos gustaría dar las gracias a los voluntarios de la parroquia que nos han ayudado de muchas maneras este año pasado. CLASES DE BIBLIA EN ESPAÑOL La Biblia es un tesoro que Dios quiere darte. Acéptalo y conoce tu religión de una manera nueva. Ven a las clases de Biblia en español. Es la oportunidad de conocer la Palabra de Dios y de crecer en la religión Católica. Todos los martes, de 6:30 a 8:00 pm, en el Anexo Norte. Adultos y jóvenes mayores de 14 años. Clases gratuitas. No se requiere inscripción. Han ayudado en las siguientes maneras: Lector, Sacristán, Ministro Extraordinario de la Comunión, Ujier, Voluntarios en la tienda, planificación y ayudar con la cena de San José, lavar y planchar las sotanas de monaguillo y chalecos de ujier, cantar en el coro, Catequistas y asistentes de educación religiosa, Ayuda con Summer Bible Fun, decorar y/o limpiar la iglesia, Ayuda con proyectos de mantenimiento de la iglesia, cocinar para eventos parroquiales, ayudar con la colocación de la moldura en la iglesia, ayudar en las procesiones de Corpus Christi, voluntarios en la oficina de la parroquia, Asistir con las celebraciones de la Virgen de Guadalupe, Las Posadas, Kermes. Ellos han dado su tiempo y talento a la parroquia desinteresadamente. Knights of Columbus The Knights of Columbus are hosting a Baby Bottle drive to benefit Aid to Women Pregnancy Center and Medical Clinic. Aid to Women Center is a Catholic, prolife, 501(c)(3) non-profit clinic in Tempe, serving the Valley, offering free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, and low cost prenatal care for those without any insurance. Don t forget to return your baby bottles with your donation by October 22/23. Our Lady's Sodality Bake Sale will be held on November 19th and 20th and I bet you are thinking.....how Can I Help with the Bake Sale? Traditional holiday cookies or candies are requested for the bake sale, any homemade pies, biscotti, cakes, cinnamon rolls, breads, muffins, cupcakes are welcome for the bakery. Let s make this a wonderful fundraiser for St. Daniel the Prophet. Glorify God with a positive attitude and a grateful heart for His many blessings and graces. Mass Intentions Our 2017 Mass Intentions Book is now available in our parish office. Because of the increasing demand for Mass intentions in our parish, for the first two weeks of availability (Oct. 09 thru Oct. 22), a family will be limited to reserving a maximum of five Mass intentions (limited to one of those being a Sunday Mass request). Beginning October 23, those families desiring additional Mass intentions will be welcome to request additional Mass intentions. The customary offering per Mass in the Diocese of Phoenix remains at $10. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. And wishing you much grace and peace in our Risen Lord Jesus! 6 Mass of Remembrance Sunday, November 6, :30AM You, your family, and friends are invited to join us for our annual candle lighting and Mass of Remembrance. This is a wonderful opportunity to remember a loved one(s) in Mass and prayer. If you would like to participate we ask that you provide the name and a picture of your intention. A copy of the photo will be placed on a candle. You will be able to walk in the procession carrying your candle. After the Mass, you will be able to take your candle home. Each intention is $ Forms are available in the parish office. We would like to thank the volunteers of the parish that helped us in so many ways this past year. Lectors. Sacristans. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Ushers. Those that assist with Votive Candles. Volunteers in the gift shop. Those that serve on our Parish Finance Council.
