God has given you the power of working miracles continually, and the favor of answering the prayers of those who invoke your assistance in misfortune, anxiety, and distress; we beseech you, obtain for us from Jesus, through Mary, His Blessed Mother, what we beg of you so fervently and hopefully, if it be for the greater honor and glory of God and for the good of our souls. We pray for them and their mothers, that the unborn will be spared and the mothers will have a change of heart. Our next Prayer Vigil is Saturday, August 15, 8:00AM at Planned Parenthood, 1250 E Apache Blvd., Tempe, (Apache Blvd and Dorsey), Pray the rosary led by our parish priests. Please dress appropriate and bring bottled water. Parish Volunteers: Please remember to renew your Safe Environment certification. You can go online to : Online Renewal. Once you have completed your review, please hardcopy your verification of taking the review. Forward that hardcopy to your ministry coordinator. It is required that all volunteers of the parish to be current with certification. If you do not have a computer, check with the parish manager, Debbie Venezia. Worldwide Marriage Encounter This is a brief summary of activity for the period of April 1,2015 through June 30, 2015: $10, paid for shelter and utilities. 414 bags of food provided to 262 people 101 home visits Members have contributed 331 hours. Air Conditioners Update: We are happy to report that a majority of the air conditioners have arrived and have been installed with the exception of the church. Those two units are being completed and should arrive within the next couple of weeks. To those that have moved their cars, walked around the delivery and install of the air conditioner units, thank you for your cooperation. We greatly appreciate your kindness. The Scottsdale Police Canine Unit periodically trains their dogs here at St. Daniel s. If you see the dogs in the police cars, please do not tap on the windows or try to get the dog s attention. The cars are equipped with air conditioners that will keep the dogs at a safe temperature. Thank you. Morning Mass Attendees: Ville de Marie Academy s first day back to school is Monday, August 17th. 6 NEW from Maggie's Place: The Hannah House is coming to Mesa! This 4th Maggie's Place home opens this summer to women who are pregnant and parenting, and they need your help. The Hannah House needs volunteers to help with a variety of on-going and one-time tasks.
