From the Master in the East Worshipful Armand Ballesil FROM THE EAST Brethren, As I'm writng this missive artcle for the Treasleboard for the month of August, I'm stll stuck here in my natve land,

Here in the third world country, in the far fung place, poor internet connecton, monsoon rains, threat of typhoons and just bad lucks hinders me to communicate fully to the Brethren.

In there, I scheduled three Conferrals, two 3rd and one 1st to be exact, and I already discussed the mater to the candidates on their dates but sad to say, the schedule was scrapped.

5 From the Master in the East Worshipful Armand Ballesil FROM THE EAST Brethren, As I'm writng this missive artcle for the Treasleboard for the month of August, I'm stll stuck here in my natve land, taking advantage of our short period of the Dark month, trying to ease the stress, work related coupled with personal issues. Here in the third world country, in the far fung place, poor internet connecton, monsoon rains, threat of typhoons and just bad lucks hinders me to communicate fully to the Brethren. Before I lef for this much needed personal vacaton, I lef my Pillar Ofcers and persons concern the schedules and agenda for the month of August for their scrutny and feedback. In there, I scheduled three Conferrals, two 3rd and one 1st to be exact, and I already discussed the mater to the candidates on their dates but sad to say, the schedule was scrapped. Afer a brief consultaton with my appointed advisers, since I already declared last Stated Meetng as the start of the Ofcers Advance Staton, therefore, the Advancing Ofcers will perform all the rituals on every Conferral that will take place and Brother Rollie Caabay will take charge. I stll have fve months to go on my journey to the East, and that I will use those tmes to beter my management skills. Our Lodge is plague with minor problems and Harmony is on the top of the list. Protocols were not being followed, heated discussions during Stated Meetng present some concerns which also prolonged the meetng, charges of disrespects, Appropriatons, Atendance issues and Management/Communicaton on my part. For all this mater Brethren, I apologize. I think, this should be the frst step to do to achieve a beter Harmonious relatonship within our organizaton. I would like then to encourage everybody to talk to me in regards to the issues at hand. I'm a person who listened frst, refer before I give a decision. I was critcized to be being sof, my sofness probably is due to, wantng to please everybody. It is not my style to be overlording. I guess I stll have a lot of tme to change? Let us just remind ourselves and asked the queston: Why did we want to be a Mason on the frst place? I don't want to ask you that queston. Ask it to yourself. 6 From the Senior in the West From the Junior in the South As the Sun at Meridian Height THE SUN IS IN THE WEST As we have now completed the first half of the year, we are now in better position to meet the challenges awaiting us in the next five months, as we build upon the experience we have gained from previous months. As officers of the lodge, let us continue our dedication and commitment to the performance of our duties and responsibilities, that we can apply the lesson we have learned as we pursue our Masonic journey to the East. There is no doubt in my mind; the incumbent officers are just capable and well prepared to advance to take the next level of responsibilities. I would like to congratulate the following Brothers; Joaquin Loayza, Brian Davies and Robert Molera of their satisfactory examinations and declared proficient in the candidate s lecture of the Fellow Craft Degree on June 12, Likewise on June 15, 2017, a 3rd Degree conferral for Bro. Brian Shield and on the 29th of June another 3rd Degree conferral for Bro. Joaquin Loayza (Past Master s Night). My brothers I, personally congratulate you both on being raised to the sublime degree as Master Mason. We again, witness the great performances of our Past Masters. As we can possibly say that they were incredibly amazing. I am once again reminded that we are so lucky to have them to be able to work with all of us. The important matters, their health, participations, goals and personal objectives. Great job Worshipful Sirs!! As we all knew the month of July supposed to be dark month. Means no work to be done in our Lodge but doesn t what it means, still a lot of works going on within our lodge. The 4th of July celebrations, we have wonderful times and enjoyed the company of our brethren and their families, friends and next door neighbors of course. Nevertheless, some visitors are curious what we can show in regards to our lodge. For my friends who do not know masonry. I kind of bragged to them that I belong to that Temple, blue building on top of the hill, by Temple Way. Their first impression was, did I changed my religion? Sounds strange but every now and then we meet people who heard about masonry but do not know or have no idea what we do in particular. Exciting sometimes. Our next big event will be the Lodge Golf tournament. We have a planned to hold a fundraising golf tournament. We will need your full support from the membership to stage this event whether it be at the links or at the lodge to prepare for the reception after the event. Of course, we would like to have sponsors and players as well. Let us all put our energy s together and make this a success. See you on the green/fairway. Fraternally, Rollie Q.
