2 Ido Wachtel Course/Module description: The course will review the material culture of the Land of Israel and its neighbors during the Early, Middle and Late Bronze Ages (3rd-2nd millennium BCE). In each period the following aspects will be emphasized: chronology, archiecture, pottery, art and cult as well as foreign relations. Course/Module aims: - Pesentation of basic concepts of the archaeology of the southern Levant in the 3rd and 2nd millennia BCE. - Acquaintance with the chronological scheme and the historical context. - presentation of central sites and main material characteristics of the periods discussed. Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to: Attendance requirements(%): 100 Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: Lectures during the course, discussions and oral presentations by the students during tutorials.
