Year-End Giving It is a custom of some to make special donations to St. Patrick's Church in the time between Thanksgiving and December 31st. Besides the thoughtfulness of these persons, one other reason for these special donations may be for IRS tax credit for Please keep St. Patrick's in mind as we come to the end of the year! Our Adult Faith Word, Eucharist, Life Fourth Sunday of Advent Luke 1 Micah 5 Psalm 80 Hebrews 10 Bethlehem, the village too small to be counted among the towns of Judah. In the words of Micah he sees the future coming of a messiah one mighty and powerful but by God s terms in a town reckoned unimportant in Israel Mary who saw herself as a humble servant was not too small for God s way of entering the world We seem too small to allow for the entry of the Holy One into our midst as one of us In God s way the Lord of all became small in human flesh for all of humanity By reenacting the paschal mystery in Eucharist we encounter the simple elements of Communion with the Holy One to remind us of God s way of coming into the history of our times This encounter calls us to give whatever small part grace brings forth to establish peace for a world of trouble and struggle December 23, 11:00am, Noelle Crone on her 19th birthday by Angela Crone
