1 May 2007 LAST MONTH Sis Sewell informed us of so many useful jewels of knowledge it is hard to summarize them all! FUTURE MEETINGS For June, we will share the diverse talents of FGD members, discover unique services they offer, and hear of projects they are pursuing. This exposition of abilities will help us understand the unique activities and interests within our group. Usually we spotlight one or two people - this time we can sample the interests of everyone, whether you have many services you offer or just have some interests you pursue in your spare time. On occasions when we had spontaneous sharing of information similar to this, it was fantastic - this will be the best time to observe the strength and ability of First Georgia Dowsers as a whole! An interesting and fun way to socialize!

2 FIELD TRIPS We had amazing success with our April 16th trip to Rock Eagle! Blue Thunder facilitated a clearing and reactivation of the Rock Eagle sacred site. FGD members Ken Williams, Leah Schweitzer, Rod Purvis, Lynn Buckley, Ann Sheffield, and Bill Phillips were able to participate in the ceremony. This is one of only 6 quartz covered animal effigy mounds in the nation. We were pleasantly surprised when the ley line pattern surrounding this unique mound was mapped. Perhaps the most beautiful and fascinating configuration of lines we have found! Each wing is aligned with an 8 line parallel group, and there is an 8 line radial group emerging from the center of the mound on each shoulder. There are 3 rings of 8 lines each surrounding the bird, the center of the first ring intersects the central axis lines where the stripe transitions into the separate 8 lines. Blue Thunder told us the bird is not an eagle - it is actually a Thunderbird! Additionally, the observation tower that lurks over it and a walkway surrounding the bird were acting to suppress and contain the influence of the mound. A companion mound - Rock Hawk - is 10 miles away (the pair are the only such mounds east of the Mississippi). This may actually be a hatchling or chick (without flight feathers) due to the small wings. The unseen wonder of Rock Eagle became evident as we explored the invisible energy patterns - and we will return soon to survey the eagle again and visit the hawk site. DOWSING TIP Subtle energies are noticeably different than the physical forces we are used to. An important feature is counterflow of currents. Example: a ley line may be found to have a positive current running east - then when the negative ley component is measured it is found to run west. (Imagine if you could run water through a pipe - and pump oil the opposite way - without mixing them!) Waves can cross in this fashion physically - but physical currents act like particles, not waves. Subtle energy currents interact as waves. If a dowser is not aware of this phenomena, important veins of energy may be overlooked!
