Parents should be registered and active members of the Parish. SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY: The Bride and Groom should call the Parish Office at least six months before the date of the marriage. Please bring recent copies of your Baptismal certificate. Those under 21 should not set a marriage date until Diocesan permission has been obtained. PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK: We want to assist those who cannot celebrate Mass with us because of illness, age or handicap. If you or a family member desires to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharist or Anointing of the Sick at home or in the hospital, please call the PARISH OFFICE. In the event of an upcoming surgery, call the Parish Office to arrange a mutually convenient time for Anointing. By LAW, hospitals cannot notify us when parishioners are admitted. If you or a family member is hospitalized, please notify us. PARISH MEMBERSHIP: We ask every member of the parish to be properly registered. All adults should have and use envelopes. New members need to register as soon as possible. All address changes should be given to the Parish Office.

2 Lenten 2018-Through prayer, we encounter Christ, present in the faces of every member of our human family, so often still walking that long road to Calvary.Through fasting, we encounter our own obstacles, those things about ourselves that prevent us from loving God and neighbor.through almsgiving, we encounter our brothers and sisters around the world, asking what we can give up so that others might have life to the fullest. Through CRS Rice Bowl, we hear stories from our brothers and sisters in need worldwide, and devote our Lenten prayers, fasting and gifts to change the lives of the poor. Each day of Lent, individuals are invited to use the Lenten Calendar included with every CRS Rice Bowl to guide their Lenten almsgiving. These daily almsgiving activities for example, give 25 cents for every faucet found in your home help families reflect on the realities of our brothers and sisters around the world and how they can be in solidarity during the Lenten season. Church 20 Page Ave, Cohoes, NY February 18, 2018 FROM THE ROSARY SOCIETY : St. Michael's Rosary Society will hold their Annual Penny Social on Sunday, March 4th at 2:00pm in the church hall. Doors will open at 11:30am. Under NYS law, you must be 18 to play. Food and refreshments will be available from 11:30am. Since this is our most profitable money making event, we again ask our Rosarians and Parishioners for donations of NEW gifts or money donations which can be used to purchase larger gifts for our raffles. This will be greatly appreciated. All gifts can be brought to the church hall on Sunday's after each Mass or on Tuesday's, after 1:00pm. We also need groceries to fill up our tubs. CALLING ALL BAKERS: The Rosary Society is in need of homemade baked goods for our Annual Penny Social. Thank you to our parishioners who have donated supplies for the college Prayer Package project! Youth Ministry group will be assembling the boxes and preparing them for mailing on Wednesday, February 28th. If you have a college student, whether home or away, and you would like a package mailed to them, please contact Mrs. Burns at (518) Our next monthly Monday night class will be February 26th, from 6PM to 8PM. Faith Formation classes are NOT in session for Wednesday February 14th (Ash Wednesday) or Wednesday February 21st (Cohoes School District Winter Break).
