Make a Total Consecration to Mary The Legion of Mary will renew our Total Consecration to Mary with a 33 day preparation which began Nov. 30 and will end January 1st, All members of both Our Lady of Czenstochowa and St. Vincent s parishes, and any others, are invited to participate. For further information please contact Tom Kelly at or a Legion of Mary member....total consecration to Mary is a practice developed by St. Louis of Monfort to bring us to Jesus through Mary. The readings for each day can be found in several books. One is 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Gaitley. Another is from the original book, True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis de Monfort. There are also daily preparations online. Ask a Legion of Mary member to borrow a copy, or go to Gabriel s Trumpet bookstore to purchase the book. Please come to the Legion Of Mary meetings on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. The Legion is a great way to participate in ministry. Contact Tom Kelly at or a Legion of Mary member for more information.

Oplatki are a Christmas Polish tradition Family members and friends break off a piece of the oplatek wafer on Christmas Eve and give it to one another along with a blessing, reminding participants of the importance of Christmas, God and Family. Oplatki are available in the sacristies after masses on weekends during Advent or in the parish offices during the week. Although there is no set fee for each package a donation would be appreciated. Christmas Mass Schedule Please note that attending Holy Mass on Saturday or Sunday during our regular weekly Mass times DOES NOT fulfill ones obligation to attend Holy Mass for Christmas. Catholics must also attend Mass during one of the three Christmas Vigil Masses or on Christmas Day. Likewise, going to Mass for the Vigil or Christmas Day DOES NOT fulfill ones Sunday obligation. This year, Sunday December 31st will fulfill our obligation for the Solemnity of Mary which is normally a Holy Day of Obligation on January 1 st. Snow Policy for daily mass, if there is no school or delayed opening for Coventry, mass will not take place at 8:30am. We will have our annual OPEN HOUSE for ALL parishioners from OLC and SVP at the Parish House at OLC following the 4PM, 8AM and 11AM masses on January 6th and January 7th.
