World Day of Youth-9 April 2017 Young people must say to the world: It is good to follow Jesus! You bring us the joy of faith and tell us that we must live the faith always with a young heart. Pope Francis we must know how to help the Church through prayer Let us often offer special prayers for the intentions of our Holy Father.

4 This weekend is our first ShareLife collection. ShareLife is more than a collection-our annual appeal is one of the ways that we bring the Gospel value to love one another to life. The agencies supported by ShareLife help thousands of people within our Archdiocese, and countless more around the world. The family seeking counselling, the isolated senior seeking a friendly voice, the child in the developing world without food-these are some of the examples of how our support fulfills the core component of our Pastoral Plan of Catholic Outreach in Justice and Love. Our theme this year is Living the Gospel by proving for those in need. Please pray for the success of our parish campaign. This Sunday, April 2, 2017 is ShareLife Sunday. Please give generously. Catholic Education Week-April 30 May 5, 2017 Walking Forward Together We invite all parishioners to join in celebrating Catholic Education Week 2017, which runs from April 30-May 5. For more than 165 years, Ontario s publicly funded Catholic Schools have been integrating our faith into all aspects of school life, nurturing the gifts and talents of every student. 5 Bus Trip to St. Michael s Cathedral in Toronto Guardian Angel s Parish Council has arranged a Bus Trip to St. Michael s Cathedral in Toronto Wednesday, April 19. Bus will leave Guardian Angels at 9:15 am arriving at St. Michael s approximately 11:30 am. There are confessions before Mass. Mass will start at 12:10 pm. We will have a tour of the Cathedral and are hoping to meet with the Cardinal or one of the Bishops. On the way home we will stop at Vinnie-Zucchini Restaurant on Rutterford Rd for a Buffet Lunch for less than $ The cost of the Bus is $25 per person. There are only 54 seats on the Bus, so it is first come first served. This will be a memorable experience. For tickets please contact Mike at Pro Life Roast Beef Dinner Fund Raiser Guardian Angel s Pro Life Committee will host a Fund Raiser Roast Beef Dinner on Saturday, April 22. The money raised will help to offset the cost of the Bus Trip to a Pro-Life Demonstration in Ottawa. Please come out and enjoy a delicious meal while supporting Pro-Life.
