In keeping with the Archdiocesan policy regarding sexual abuse of minors, this information is provided to insure that our children remain safe and secure. The little children of Holy Name of Jesus are a wonderful gift to the entire parish. Their presence and life at our Sunday Liturgies speak of hope for the future of the Church. If, however, your infant or toddler is noisy or acting up in church, we invite you to make use of the vestibule in the back of the church behind the glass doors. Our sound system will enable you to continue to hear and participate in the Mass. INTERFAITH PREGANCY HELP GROUP Please join us on Tuesday, October 10 th at 7PM in Halligan Hall and help plan ways to assist pregnant women in crisis and in need of help. HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSES The Ursuline School, an independent, private, Catholic, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6-12 in New Rochelle will hold an Open House on Saturday, October 28 th from 12:30PM-3:30PM. Our priests and deacon are available to be in contact with our people who are unable to attend Mass.

ANNUAL RED MASS His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will celebrate the Annual Red Mass for the Judiciary, Attorneys, and Members of Law Enforcement and their families on Thursday, October 12, at 6PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 148 Hamilton Avenue, White Plains, NY. The Red Mass is sponsored by the Catholic Lawyers Guild of the Archdiocese of New York and is a solemn religious ceremony asking God to guide the legal profession toward the administration of justice. The custom dates back to Europe in the 13 th Century. In the United States, the practice was instituted by the Catholic Lawyers Guild in the New York Archdiocese in Following the Mass, there will be a reception in the auditorium of St. John the Evangelist School located next to the Church. The public is invited to attend.
