2 Paige Bronander Samantha Whitley Bryce Putnam TCBC s Mission Trip Team to Germany - May 2, 2017 Our Team Caroline Johnson David Dafoe Becky Dafoe Bobby Burgess Beverly Burgess Adam Johnson Kristin Johnson Pastor Adam Please pray for this team as they are preparing for this mission trip starting May 2, Pray that hearts will be softened to hear the gospel. Evangelism is an important responsibility for every Christian. If you re a Christian, then, by definition, you are a missionary! God has instructed all of us to share the truth of Jesus Christ to people in our lives. And yet many Christians have never done so. I used to be one of them. I wanted to share Christ but was too scared. The primary thing that helped me overcome my fear was practice. Like with most things in life, doing something for the first time is scary. What if I mess up? What if I don t do it right? What if people laugh at me? And so we never take that first step, we never even try because of a fear of failure. But what if you could take that first golf swing, give that first speech, or try that first dance move in a room full of caring and supportive people who wanted to see you succeed, many of whom are as nervous as you are! That s the type of atmosphere we try to create in Evangelism Explosion (EE). We re starting a new class on March 22 that will meet for six consecutive weeks on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm in the East Wing classroom. This will be the last time I teach EE at our church, so don t miss this opportunity! This class is for those who ve taken EE already and for those who are brand new. It s an excellent opportunity to learn how to share the Gospel by practicing it with fellow Christians who are also learning. And, when you re comfortable to do so, you can go out with someone more experienced and watch them share the Gospel. Attending this class maybe the first step of faith towards leading many people to Christ! Pastor Adam Serving Our Neighbors is a ministry supported by Tega Cay Baptist throughout the year. For the month of February, the items needed for the pantry are can chili, can soup, can meat and rice. You can bring the items requested and place in the SON s food pantry which is located at the back of the Worship Center (Room 1). Thank you for your willingness to share with others. The Bronander Family Tega Cay Baptist Church extends our sympathy to Mr. Frank Bronander and family on the death of his father, Mr. F. Burton Bronander, Sr. on Monday, January 9, Please continue to lift up Frank and family in prayer. The men s breakfast and Bible study is scheduled for Saturday, February 11 and 25, 2017 at 6:45-8:00 a.m. If you have not taken advantage of this event, you are missing out on an opportunity to fellowship with the men of the church as well as study God s word together. Mark your calendar and plan to join us.

We are going through the entire Bible, touching on events and themes from each book of the Bible, discussing God's Plan of Redemption. The Semester Challenge is to memorize the books of the Bible in order, and to know what "section" they are in (i.e. The Law, History, Poetry, Prophets, etc.). We have a service night planned for Sunday, February 12; we will be making Valentine's and goodie bags for Valentine's Day for the homeless women associated with SON Ministry in this area. We still plan to hold a Passover Seder later this semester and another service night...more details to come. We've included some pictures here for you to see what a great time the children (and adults) are having with the music, games, activities and lessons each week in SNL. Bible Study, Bible Games, Fun Activities Seeds being planted in SNL for future leaders for His Kingdom.
