If this year, we equal what was given last year, we will have a balanced budget for Our administration, has kept expenses within the voted budget, so all that remains is, to meet our income commitment. Thank you for your support of our Church Family Budget Adult Sabbath School Classes Canceled Due to the Thanksgiving lunch in the fellowship hall on November 22, 2014 there will be a General Lesson Study in the Sanctuary. Announcements Annual Church Family Thanksgiving Luncheon - November 22, 12:30 pm, Fellowship Hall - Church members are welcome to join by providing Green salad mixes, dinner rolls and pumpkin, apple or pecan pies Devotional Books Once again we are able to offer you discounted prices on the yearly devotional books, courtesy of the ABC. A complete list of the 2015 books is available at the Ministry Booth. There is also a church order form for you to use. All orders must be accompanied by a check, made payable to the Carmichael Church, and turned into the Church Office by December 20, Orders can be picked up at the Church Office beginning Monday, December 29. Community Thanksgiving Dinner The church is providing a free Thanksgiving Dinner for the community on Tuesday, November 25, at 5:30pm. How can you help? Stop by the Ministry Booth today to find out what help is needed, or call the Church Office , ext Women s Ministry Vespers and Movie Night Tonight, 6:00 pm. We will be watching An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving. Bring the whole family! Root Beer Floats and Popcorn provided. CCK (Carmichael Cares for Kids) Movie Night - All families are welcome to join us for Wednesday, November 19, 5:30 pm, in the Fellowship Hall for Supper and a Veggie Tales Movie. Assisted Listening System - "The AV department has recently purchased a state of the art, assisted listening system, to better serve our worshipers that have a little trouble hearing the service through the house speakers. Please stop by the AV Booth at the beginning of the service to check one out, and then return it at the end of the service." SAA Alumni Basketball Game Saturday night, November 22. Come on over to play, come on over to watch, just come on over to SAA! And for those who can t get enough of those veggie corndogs, the seniors are currently taking preorders at megan.bush@sacaa.org ($20 per dozen) to be distributed during the alumni game. Clothing Drive Fundraiser to Benefit SAA Senior Class of 2015: Items accepted include: women s, men s and children s clothing; shoes, purses, and belts; table and bed linens; towels; and stuffed animals. Donations will be picked up at the church on November 1, 8, & 15. Or drop off those donations at SAA in the Booster Club Trailer. Thanks for your help and support. We know that God is able to help in any situation and, we would love to pray with you. THANKSGIVING OFFERING Each year the Carmichael Church takes up a Thanksgiving offering for a special need. This year, on Sabbath November 22 nd the Thanksgiving Offering will be for our tuition assistance fund that helps students at SAA and SAE who meet certain academic, financial and personal criteria. This year, in addition to our school subsidy, we will assist students with more than $45,000. Your help in donating to this fund is greatly appreciated. Thank you. SAVE THE DATE - First Tuesday of each month "Dining with a Doc" series. December 2, 6:30-8:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. A gourmet vegan meal will be provided, followed by a 45-minute lecture from Dr. Don Forrester, and 15 minutes for Q & A. Cost is $15 per person. Reserve a spot by pre-paying via check, cash, or mkt.com/carmsda. Attention Parents of College students - We are collecting names and addresses of our college students so that we as a church family can send out care packages. Photo Directory - We will be taking pictures, in the church lobby, for a new photo directory on November 15, 22, 29, and December 6 from 9-11 am, and 12-2 pm. Also please note we are not using any sales organization. There will be no sales because we are using our own photographer!
