3 HAPPENING TODAY & THIS WEEK Second Harvest to Hold a Mobile Fresh Pop Up at the Ceres SDA Church Every Other Monday This last Monday, Second Harvest of Manteca, began a program in our church parking lot that they call the Mobile Fresh Pop Up. Second Harvest will now bring a truck to the parking lot EVERY OTHER Monday, 9-11am, to pass out produce and dairy products. They believe they can provide about 25 lbs of food to about 300 people and are hoping to have a crowd to come for the perishable foods. (NO identification or paperwork is required for this program.) The next Mobile Pop Up will be June 18. The Mobile Fresh Pop Up will be completely run by Second Harvest and is separate from our Community Service food bank that will continue to distribute food and clothes on Tuesday mornings 9-11am. (Requirements: ID, proof of income or the lack of income, and a bill or something addressed to you showing that you live in Stanislaus county.) Be sure and tell your friends who may need some assistance! Potluck Today Our guests are invited to stay for a potluck lunch after the service, in the Fireside Hall. VBS Staff Training If you are volunteering for VBS, please plan to attend our staff training night, Thursday, June 21 at 7:00pm. VBS T-shirts Are Now On Sale Each year it is fun to get the VBS T-shirt as a keepsake! The T-shirts are now on sale so that you can wear yours on the very first night. We have youth sizes through Adult 2X. Adults $9/ Youth $8. Available at the church office!

4 ANNOUNCEMENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS View Doctor Canele s Talks on You Tube If you missed Dinner With A Doctor, this week, about Obesity-Losing Successfully, presented by Dr. Juan Canale, Gastroenterologist, you can view his talks on You Tube. He has a series there of great information that you can view and share, in English and Spanish. Search for Doctor Canale to veiw the presentations. Thank You Gloria Ramos and family would like to thank everyone for the cards, prayers and support during this difficult time. SCUBA Vacation Bible School June 24-28, 2018 We are bubbling over with excitement this year as we get ready to dive in to a Super Cool Under Water Bible Adventure (SCUBA) Vacation Bible School. On this deep sea exploration there will be memorable Bible-learning adventures for kids ages Each day, kids will play team-building games, sing catchy songs, nibble treats at the Dive-in Diner and create crafts to take home. SCUBA begins Sunday, June 24, 6pm-8:45pm and continues each night through Thursday, June 28, This is a FREE program! Divers should meet in the Fireside Hall of the Ceres Seventh-day Adventist Church, at 1633 N. Central Avenue, Ceres, CA. Walk-ins are welcome but to save the kids a little time the first night, we encourage you to pre-register your child by calling (209) or stopping by the church to fill out a registration form. Now is the Time to Make Your Reservations for Camp Meeting! If you have never been to Soquel Camp Meeting, it is time for you to go! Approximately 4,000 Adventist Christians will be camped on the property and about 10,000 will be worshipping together there on Sabbaths. This is potentially a life-changing week for you and your family. A huge blessing awaits you there! Enjoy ten days of worship and fellowship with your Central California Conference church family. There will be full programs in English and Spanish as well as wonderful children s programs. The kids love Camp Meeting and you will, too! And our pastors will be there, also!
