Their energetic ministry combines family vocal harmony, humor, and brass instruments with their Christcentered message shared through the powerful medium of music. The Hyssongs perform at more than 250 events each year throughout the U.S. and Canada. They minister in churches, auditoriums, and on Gospel singing cruises, as well as on television and radio. 3 Upcoming Events at NSCA April 1-15: Pasta Fundraiser Packages of dried pasta come in a variety of fun shapes such as animals, sports teams, patriotic, ABC s, chili & soup mixes, gift boxes, family meals, and angel hair. Catalogs are available in the back hallway of the church or in the school office. April NSCA Spring Vacation April 30 th NSCA s Annual Auction and Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser Dinner at 4:30 pm; Auction begins at 6 pm Lasagna Dinner: $7 Adults; $4 Children under 10 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 15 In the Mix Julie MacCormack provided a recipe from her Aunt Eunice from their 45 th family reunion in If you enjoy beans, give it a try! Aunt Eunice s Calico Beans 2 Cans Bush s Baked Beans (any style) 1 Can Kidney Beans (drain) 1 or 2 Cans Goya Butter Beans (drain I use 2) ½ lb. Ground Beef 1 Fairly Large Onion ¼ Cup Ketchup 2 Tbls. Mustard * ¾ Cup Brown Sugar * ¾ Cup White Sugar * ½ Cup Molasses Salt and Pepper Fry Bacon, remove and add onion and sauté. Add ground beef and cook until brown. Add sugars. Put all ingredients in a casserole dish and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for ½ hour before serving. These can be made ahead and can be frozen. (* Julie I personally cut way back on the sugar that s called for. When I make them I use a little less than ½ cup of brown sugar and no white sugar at all. I add about 1/3 cup of molasses. They seem to come out great no matter what you do to them. Enjoy.) Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies... She is like the merchant ships, she brings her food from afar.
