II Timothy 4:7 Apostle Maria Green Carr was born in Seaboard, NC to Curly Lacey and Catherine Tillery on February 9, She was married to the late Leroy Green and to that union was born two sons, Darryl Green and Darwin Green Sr. She would later marry Deacon Lionel Carr in Apostle Maria Green Carr, a native of North Carolina, was raised and educated in the New Jersey school system. She graduated from West Side High School and then completed her higher education at Seton Hall University. Earning a B.A. degree with a minor in Psychology, she also obtained an M.S.W. in Social Work, building a career in Social Services. She was employed by the Essex County Department of Welfare for many years. In conjunction with this, she has provided counseling and referral services to pregnant teens and other individuals needing natural and spiritual guidance. For seventeen years, she was also employed by the State of New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services. As a Family Service Specialist Supervisor, she continued to provide unprecedented services to those in need. Apostle Maria Green Carr began ministerial work for God in 1981, migrating from counseling and social work she organized a prayer group and held prayer services in her home. During the year of 1991, she was called into the Ministry of Jesus Christ full time and was ordained by Apostle Paul Stevens from King of Kings Ministries in Nanuet, New York. In February 1993, being led by faith in the Holy Spirit, she incorporated the prayer group and became the Founder and

3 Pastor of Alpha Omega Fellowship Ministry. In October 1995, the fellowship purchased a building located at Parrow Street in Orange, New Jersey, where services are still being held in this anointed edifice. In May 1999, Apostle Maria Green Carr received a new vision and instructions to assist the body of Christ in becoming unified and equipped for the gospels sake. A directive was mandated by the Holy Spirit to work with women who were called into leadership and to understand God s destiny for their lives, to assist them in knowing their call and how to walk in that calling until promotion comes; from this came the birth of The International Prophetic Council for Women (IPCFW) of which she was the executive director and founder. In October 2012, Apostle Carr was affirmed as the Apostle Elect by her pastor Apostle Willie M. Thornton Jr. from King of Kings International Covenant Assembly in Taylor, Michigan. Through the prayers of Apostle Maria Green Carr many have been led to Christ and received deliverance from drugs and alcohol, others have been healed of various illnesses including cancer, strokes, tumors, blood clots and asthma. Apostle Maria Green Carr was a great spiritual warrior and a mighty woman of valor whose never-ending dedication to the Lord was evident in her walk. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Darryl Green, her husband Deacon Lionel Carr, two sisters Emma Tillery and Katie M. Lacey and two brothers, James L. Harris and Lawrence Tillery. She leaves to cherish her memories one son Darwin Green Sr., one grandson Darwin Green Jr., One great granddaughter Chardazia Lafay Green, two sisters, Irene Harris and Arlene Tillery, six brothers, Tazewell Teddy Lacey, Eugene Newsome, Thomas Tillery Jr., Wendell Tillery, Ali Lacey and Oliver Lacey, one aunt Cora Stephenson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and her AOF family that will remember her smiles, her wisdom and her heart that was open to everyone.
