3 Anthony F. Terry Davis, son of Selicia M. Davis and H. Anthony Terry, entered this life on April 4,1993 in Newark, New Jersey. Reared in East Orange, Hillside and Newark, Anthony was educated in the East Orange and Newark Public School Systems and graduated from 17th Avenue School with the class of Anthony enjoyed sports, especially football. He was a talented dancer and loved music. He was a loving babysitter who loved kids so much that he would help Mom out when she worked the Toddler s Ministry at the Abundant Life Family Worship Church. He enjoyed laughing so much that he would have everyone join in laughter with him. Let s not forget that remarkable smile that would light up a room. The smile that captured everyone s heart. He was so loved by everyone even if he went astray. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Selicia M. Davis; father, H. Anthony Terry; grandparents, Elizabeth Scott, Rebecca Terry, Howard Boyd, and Rosalia Clegg; aunts and uncles, Tammy Clegg, Tasha and Rahsheen, Terry, Sincere, Shakirah, Gregory and Tyree Scott; godparents, Michael Clegg and Quixote Johnson. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gregory Moore.

4 Christian Liberty Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Love Fulfills the Law You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is. And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased. I could wish that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off! For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece If so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all just thought of us on that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We Thank You, Whatever the part.
