That threat is the answer t the questin, When was yur faith tested this week thrugh failure? In fact, many times many fellw reunin grups members have struggled t cme up with a genuine discipleship denied. Fr years nw, I have prayed during my mrning devtinal, Shw me my sin, O Gd, that I might cnfess it unt yu. It s amazing hw Gd answers that prayer. I dn t have t wait very lng until smething wretched cmes t mind. Frm time t time I lve reading Psalm 51, David s prayer f repentance after he had gne in t Bathsheba. David knew that sin had taken frm him the jy f his salvatin. And he said, purge me with hyssp, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snw hide yur face frm my sins, and blt ut all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O Gd d nt cast me away frm yur presence, and d nt take yur Hly Spirit frm me. Restre t me the jy f yur salvatin. (Psalm 51:7, 9-12) My friends in Celebrate Recvery have trigger questins that help me quickly see my shrtcmings. Like Wh has hurt me r whm have I hurt? Against whm have I been hlding a grudge r seeking revenge? Am I jealus f smene? Wh have I criticized r gssiped abut? Have I justified my bad attitude by saying it was their fault? In what areas f my life am I still nt putting Gd first? What in my past is interfering with my ding Gd s will? My ambitin? Pleasures? Jb? Hbbies? Mney? Friendships? Persnal gals? Have I cmplained abut my circumstances? In what areas f my life am I ungrateful? Have I gtten angry and easily blwn up at peple? Have I been sarcastic r lst my temper?

2 What in my past is causing me fear r anxiety? Where have I been dishnest? Have I stlen things? Have I exaggerated t make myself lk better r used false humility? Have I been living ne way in frnt f my Christian friends and anther way at hme r at wrk? Have I filled my mind with hurtful and unhealthy mvies, televisin prgrams, internet sites, magazines, r bks? Have I failed t cncentrate n the psitive truths f the Bible? In what ways have I mistreated my bdy? Alchl? Drugs? Fd? Sex? What have I dne t cause harm t my physical health? Have I mistreated anyne in my family? Whm d I have a resentment against r we an amends t fr smething I ve said r dne r fr an attitude I ve held? The abve list f questins is nt meant t be exhaustive. But taking a few minutes and ging ver them befre yur next reunin grup meeting will help. It will help with yur discipleship denied. And it will make yu and yur faith real and accuntable t yur brthers r sisters. The respnse f thse that were called and asked t serve was s awesme. Gd went befre me and was always cvering my back. The Walk appeared t run with very few hitches. The utside team was abslutely the best abut making the Pilgrims feel s special and lved. The cnference rm team really blessed us with Talk's that seemed t target all the right things that needed t be addressed at this particular time. The prayer team prayers were felt and with thse prayer warrirs things really ppped in the cnference rm. We all cried a lt and we all saw the "TRUE" meaning f Christian lve. The skits were really meaningful and tuching. I felt like we all grew spiritually and emtinally, and walked away with mre t take t the wrld than we ever thught pssible. 4 4 th Day The Walk t Emmaus was truly a walk int His presence His deep and prfund lve His unending grace. I have walked with the Lrd fr a very lng time, but smehw ttally missed this dimensin f His character that is the true basis fr all we d - every breath we breathe - every wrd we speak every actin dne in the name f ur Lrd. Hw did I miss it? I discvered that I have lived my life lng n repentance and avidance f judgments. As valid as these truths are, they are nt wh He is. Everything wrks by His lve, fr Gd is lve. Hw did I miss it? The first scripture I ever memrized, Fr Gd s lves the wrld that He gave His nly begtten sn, that wh s ever believes in Him shuld nt perish but have everlasting life. (Jhn 3:16) I have lived in Jhn 3:16b and smehw fallen ver Jhn 3:16a (fr Gd s lved that He gave ) Everything wrks by lve His lve. My Walk t Emmaus weekend was full f the visible and the tangible lve f Gd. T put it mildly, I was verwhelmed by His presence. At ne pint I culd nly cry ut n mre, Jesus, n mre; I cannt stand it!!! I cnfess I have been lng n the duties and respnsibilities f Christian life and very shrt n the eternal virtues f mercy, grace, uncnditinal lve, jy, peace, gdness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-cntrl. T all that wrte letters, prayed, and in any way facilitated the weekend: I am eternally and immeasurable thankful. The fruit brn frm this weekend will endure in my every thught, my every wrd, and every actin taken frm this day frward.
