Many thanks to Regina & Ronald Hammond for their tireless efforts, & many hours doing the necessary paperwork & filling out the endless forms for our license. Thank you Sandra Kelly for donating the glass to repair the entrance light. Thank you Eddie Hite & Ronald Hammond for painting the meeting room wall. Thank you Eddie Hite for sanding & painting the meeting room chest & painting the 9 O clock Ceremony Star. Thank you Regina Hammond, for cleaning mirrors & windows, scrubbing walls, & coordinating the Supreme Governor s Visit. Thank you Charlotte Shed for the program, name tags. & donating the Print Master DVD to the Lodge. Thank you Shirley Hite for the place cards and photography. From the Administrator: Larry Hollaway: The Cullman Moose Lodge 1861 celebrated its Golden Anniversary on Saturday, January 21, Dale Greer, City of Cullman Assistant Director of Economic Development Board, served as the Master of Ceremonies and welcomed Wesley Crowder the Moose International Supreme Governor of the US, Canada and Great Britain, as their guest speaker. Supreme Governor Crowder talked about the local lodges support of the Mooseheart Child City & School located near Chicago, & Moosehaven, a retirement community, located near Jacksonville, Florida, as well as their local community service projects. The Key to the city was presented to Supreme Governor Wesley Crowder by the Mayor of Cullman, Max Townson. Mayor Townson, who was accompanied by his wife Kay, gave a glowing report on the City of Cullman, which included the city school system & the rebuilding after the tornado damage. Continued on Page 2

This soft & cuddly Moose is carried in police vehicles & given to calm young children in crisis situations.
