1 Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory: Obituaries 1 of 1 10/18/2009 9:48 PM Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory Mr., 63, of Blackshear died early Monday morning at Satilla Regional Medical Center. He was born in Ocala, Florida to the late Harry Youmans and Evelyn F. Pryor. Harold was raised and educated in Lake Charles, Louisiana and had made his home in Blackshear since He was retired from the Bridgestone/Firestone Company and Satilla Electric, Inc. Mr. Youmans was a member of Brunel Street Church of God. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, sing, play the guitar and keep everyone entertained by telling stories. He was also a member of Lakeview Golf Club and the National Rifle Association. Mr. Youmans served two tours of duty with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his aunt, Mary Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by his wife, Colleen Youmans of Blackshear, a daughter, Monica Bowen (Ron Spikes) of Blackshear, a granddaughter, Laycee Bowen of Blackshear, his mother-in-law, Jean Grant Moore of Waycross, four brothers, Albert Youman of Gillespie, Illinois, John Pryor, Jr. of Ocala, Florida, Wayne E. Smith of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Gary Smith of San Leon, Texas, a sister, Esther Fincher (Coby) of Ocala, Florida and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Brunel Street Church of God. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
