5 THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS Please remember the following people who need our prayerful support: Larry Pope, on the recent passing of his mother, Sarah Pope; and Cindy Giaccone on the recent passing of her son, Matthew Giaccone. May they Rest in Peace. Also for the return to good health for Terry Krotzer, Steve Dawson; Steve Floyd; Marilyn Pope; Hazel Jenkins, mother of Gwenn Price and Beverly Britt; Martha Gibson, mother of Brenda Jackson; Sarah Farmer, sister of Marilyn Pope Judy Collins, Hospice Care. We also offer our thoughts and prayers to many of our members and their families who were still affected by Hurricane Matthew and the flooding that has taken such a toll on our community and the surrounding area. May all of your needs be met and your recovery be achieved rapidly. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 2017 COMING EVENTS Dec 1st CSSC Dance -- David Sessoms Christmas Party -- Remember Admission 1 new unwrapped toy (min $10 value) Members only ~ No Toy or all guests $10 For a list of dances, concerts, and beach music events, please check out our website. Sandra posts a great schedule of events that are taking place all over the area for the coming months. Surely you will be able to find somewhere to dance, listen to your favorite tunes and just enjoy yourself with other folks who love the shag scene. Check it out!! If you know of other beach or shag happenings around our area, pop her an and she can share it with our members. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Our RCC & CC Food Drive Our next food drive will be at our January Dance. Let us share what we can to help folks throughout the area. Thanks to all who bring donations of food to benefit the Church & Community Center Food Bank. All donations are always greatly appreciated. Canned meat, soups, canned meals, fruit, rice, pasta, any non-perishables and juices are always needed. Still in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, our donations are even more critical to the food bank as they struggle to meet the needs of those most drastically affected by the storm. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ From our own abundance may we always meet the needs of others. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Alternate directions to Adelio s Ristorante: From I-95: Take Exit 19 onto Carthage Road. Continue to N. Water Street bear right and continue to traffic circle. Take 1 st Exit and continue on N. Water St. Turn left onto 3 rd Street. Adelio s will be on your right
