Mrs. Stewart was a store manager for Short Stop Inc. before retiring. She was a member of Coats United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Coats United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tommy Smith. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. Mrs. Stewart is survived by a daughter, Vickie S. Johnson of Coats; two sons, Davy Stewart and Nicky Stewart, both of Coats; a sister, Peggy Partin of Ashe County; and four grandsons. Fred Robert Barbour October 26, 2002 Mr. Fred R. Barbour, 75, Tulip Lane, Four Oaks, died Friday morning at his residence. He retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in 1990 after 35 years of service. He was the son of the late Malissie Stephenson Partin and George Washington Partin. 5 Grace Barbour Partin Parrish Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) September 14, 2001 Ms. Grace Barbour Partin Parrish, 89, of Angier, died Wednesday in Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Ms. Parrish was a homemaker and a member of Benson Grove Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Benson Grove Baptist Church in Benson by the Revs. Billy Cashwell and Horace Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Ms. Parrish is survived by a daughter, Brenda P. James Lenwood Tutor 03/14/2006 James Lenwood Tutor, 81, of Monroe died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Hospice House II in Monroe. He was born Sept. 3, 1924, in Harnett County to the late James Braxton Tutor and Mary Caroline Partin Tutor. He retired from the Town of Angier Maintenance Department. Mr. Tutor was preceded in death by his wife, Marvalee Benson Tutor. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. March 11 at Kennebec Baptist Church in Angier by the Revs. Mark Howard, James Aycock and Phil McLean. Interment followed at the church cemetery. He was born Nov. 13, 1922 to the late Yancy and Mary Cobb Partin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Blanche G. Partin, sisters, Janice P. Butler, Reba P. Thornton and a brother Alonzo Partin. He was the eldest of nine children. His early years were spent helping his parents on their farm near Angier. He graduated form Angier High School in In 1942 he served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a 3rd Class Steam Engineer. In 1948 he purchased a country store and he and his wife operated the store for 32 years on Route 3, Dunn. He was a rural mail carrier for 26 years. He loved God, family and friends. Leo was good husband, neighbor and friend. He was a member of Lee s Grove PFWB Church and served as a deacon for years. He was a member of Mary Stewart Lions Club and held many positions through the years. He was presented "The Melvin Jones Fellowship Award". It is the highest honor a Lion can receive. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing as long as his health permitted.

She was a native of Harnett County, born July 24, 1899 to the late John Calvin and Sarah Adams Partin. She was a homemaker and the oldest living member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie David Wood.

Born Feb. 11, 1929, in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Penny Partin. She was the widow of Fred Robert Barbour, who died in Mrs. Barbour was a member of Four Oaks United Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Four Oaks United Methodist Church.
