3 Other Officers and Boards Sunday School Superintendent The Sunday School Superintendent directs the Education Committee which oversees Sunday School, Lifelines, and other classes. This person is also a member of the Vision Team. Vote for one candidate by placing a checkmark next to the candidate s Brandy Kunishige Kevin Kaya Sunday School Board (Education Committee) The Sunday School Superintendent directs this board which oversees Sunday School, Ohana Groups, and other classes. 4 Nazarene Youth International President The NYI President works with the youth pastor to benefit the youth ministry by providing lay leadership, support, and representation for the youth ministry. This person is also a member of the Vision Team. Vote yes or no for our candidate. Yes Rachel Power No Nazarene Missions International Council The NMI Council oversees our church s involvement and participation in missions. Our NMI President Linda Kinoshita will serve the second year of her two-year term in She is also a Vision Team member based on her position. 5 District Assembly Delegates People we elect to attend Nazarene District Assembly on April will represent our church by voting on district officers, licenses for ministers, budget items, etc. Several members of our congregation are automatic delegates due to offices they hold in our church or in the district. These people are as follows: Jerry Appleby, Toby Litsey, Will Campbell, Joy Lum Kee, Scott Kovalcik, Charlie Ah Sing, Joe Wright, Kona Hahn, Linda Kinoshita, Rachel Power, and Joline Chang. Vote for six (6) of the following candidates by placing a checkmark next to the candidate s (Waiting to hear back from some for this section.) NMI Assembly Delegates People we elect to attend NMI District Assembly on April 10 will represent our church by voting on items concerning Nazarene Missions.
