1 GraphicsFactory.com Beyond the Glass November 2010 From the President GraphicsFactory.com I want to thank the following for their help. Larry Armbrecht for setting up our Halloween Party and Gary Cummings for doing our Leaf Run, great times were had by everyone that attended. To all our members, at our October meeting the club passed a motion to move all our meetings to Pat McGrath Chevyland starting with our November 18th meeting. For those that do not know why the change, here s the reason. Pat McGrath has been our Major Sponsor for well over 15 years and wanted us at his place of business. We will set up tables and chairs and take them down, McGrath people will get them out and put away. Our meetings will be concluded by 9PM. Our treat committee will stay in place for treats at eight meetings. Pat wants to continue with food for our March, July and October meetings. The cost to us for the hall space will be $0.00. On the other side St. Elizabeth has been a good place for our meetings. The main factor for the change was that our hall rent went from $10.00 to $50.00 a meeting. I want to thank Karla and Dan McMurrin for their donation of time to set up and clean up at our meetings in St Elizabeth s hall. As we come close to the end of 2010 please thank the following officers if you get the chance. Vice President Mike Williams, Secretary Madeline Watertor, Treasurer Larry Bushaw, Governor Larry Beebe, Competition Director Chris Beebe, Social Director Emily Rozinek, Homecoming Director Bob Baker, Editor Karla McMurrin, Historian Dianna Knutson, Trustee Diane Bowen, Wayne Martin, Larry Armbrecht Appointed Officers Messenger Bob Bowen, Webmaster Larry Bushaw, Committees Car Show Dick Butschi, Wayne Martin, Larry Bushaw, Danny Roberts. Treats Pat Fritz November meeting is nominations for next year s officers, please give serious thought about running for an office. All offices are open except two Trustee positions. We do have nine present officers that would except a nomination, while we also have four offices with no incumbents running. They are Trustee, Editor, Social Director and Homecoming Director Take Care Tom

2 Cedar Rapids Corvette Club Minutes Meeting October 21, 2010 Madeline Watertor Secretary Correction to the minutes of the September meeting. There was a discussion on the charities for 2011, but it was sidetracked by the discussion as to whether CRCC should set a number of years before we replace a charity with a new charity. That discussion was tabled until early next year. Also there was discussion on a donation to the Honors Flight and further discussion was also tabled during our charities for 2011 discussion. A motion was made and was seconded that CRCC keep the same five charities for 2011 unless the Vinton Braille and Sight Saving School does not have student residence any longer. If the Braille School does not have student residence we will then divide the monies among the remaining four charities. Dick Butschi is to contact the school to get information as to whether we will or will not include them in our donations. President Tom Oakley recommended this idea at the start of the discussion and after all the time spent going in other directions. The motion was passed. The October meeting was called to order by President Tom Oakley at 7:05 PM. There were 64 members present at the meeting. The meeting was held at Pat McGrath Chevyland.
