3 Sunday Morning Studies Join us on Sunday morning a traditionally excellent time to study the Scriptures! 10:00 AM "The Gospel According to Paul Meets in the upstairs Library of the Michel Building. Led by Larry Hess. 10:15 AM -- Brothers and Sisters in the Word Sunday Morning Bible Study Look a little deeper into the Scripture readings for each Sunday! Pour a cup of coffee, grab some refreshment, and join us in the Michel Building Multi-Purpose Room. This Bible study will not be following a specific series or book of the Bible, so you can come once or many times. If your schedule does not allow you to join us every Sunday, come when you can! Visiting this week or for a few months? Come and spend an hour in fellowship and study! Led by Magdala Ray. Weekday Bible Studies Home Bible Study at the home of Tom & Sally Schwartz Bible Study at the Schwartz s is the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. All are welcome. The program begins at 6:30 PM and includes potluck dinner, fellowship and Bible Study, ending promptly at 9:00 PM. Call for info and Tuesday Morning Women s Bible Study at 10:00 AM in the Multi-Purpose Room. The study is Facedown Worship a study of Psalm 95:6-7. We will be studying Ezekiel using the book What is to Come by Kay Arthur and Pete DeLacy. Bring a roll or two of quarters and bid on products from local vendors for quarters; while supporting our charity. Paddles to bid are $2.00 each, Dinners will be sold for $5.00 prepared by the Men of Faith. Come, party with us and have the most fun you ve had in a long time while winning expensive items at inexpensive prices or maybe even FREE! Check Out Our Tuesday Evening Wellness Ministry Come at 5:30 PM to the Faithful Walkers Come join in the fun and fellowship in an air-conditioned gym! This is a multi-muscle walking program done to a Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVD. Bring your water bottle, towel, hand-weights, stretch bands. No fees. We all need to take care of the body God has entrusted us with, so get off that couch and that means YOU! (FYI You can go on YouTube to view Walk at Home DVDs.) Altar Guild Meeting Tuesday, November 26th at 6:00 PM in the Conference Room New members are needed, anyone that is interested in helping set up the altar, please come to this meeting to learn more what the Altar Guild does. Beyond the Book Club Monday, November 12th at 7:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Michel Building. This month's book is The Veins of the Ocean by Patricia Engel. Everyone welcome. This group meets together to prepare back packs for the homeless. On November 6, our ministry is being highlighted by the Brewhouse Gallery at 720 Park Ave in Lake Park. It s a free concert with Nathan Gray & Jack O Shea of Boysetsfire of Bayside. Donations of canned goods and non-perishable foods will be given to our ministry. Immediate opening for a fulltime assistant in Faith Lutheran s Toddler two year old program Hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Year round Benefits, including childcare credit. 7 Faith Lutheran Church was well represented at the A21 Walk For Freedom walk on Saturday, October 20th. Walkers were: Barb Best, Dave Hernandez, Steve & Daria Johnson, Connie Luneke, Barbara Roemmele, Pastor Mark Stillman, Bert & Linda Seitz. Thanks to all who walked and who donated to help support this worthwhile cause. Thanks also to Linda Seitz for organizing Faith s team. A New Members Class will be held, Friday, November 9th at 7:00 PM here at the church in the Conference Room. All those who desire to become official members, as well as those who are seeking more information on our church, are welcome to come! We also encourage folks who have recently transferred in as members from another LCMS congregation to attend, as it s a great way to get acclimated to this congregation. New member classes here at Faith meet for only one or two sessions (so please keep Saturday morning open as well, even though we have never had to meet then.) Refreshments will be served and plan to be here until 9:30 PM or so.
