2 A. Introduction Since Oct 2012, we have been celebrating the monthly Rosh Chodesh celebrations besides the Feasts. That has enabled us to walk into God s Timing, and experiencing His Fullness & Fruitfulness Testimonies

3 Since last year when we have our name change to Jubilee Sunrise God has been revealing the power & outreach of the shofar & what He is doing wherever that sound travels. Recently God has been impressing the need to flow deeper in His prophetic revelations Hence Ps 81: 3-5

4 Psalm 81:3-5 (NKJV) 3 Blow the trumpet at the time of the New Moon, At the full moon, on our solemn feast day. 4 For this is a statute for Israel, A law of the God of Jacob. 5 This He established in Joseph as a testimony, When He went throughout the land of Egypt, 诗篇 81:3-5 (CNVS) 3 要在月朔, 在月望, 在我们守节的日子吹角 4 因为这是给以色列的律例, 是雅各的神的典章 5 约瑟从埃及地出来 ( 约瑟从埃及地出来 或译 : 神出去攻击埃及地 ) 的时候, 神为约瑟立了这法规 我听见了我不晓得的言语

5 Background Psalm 81 tells us that Joseph instituted the Rosh Chodesh during his tenure as the Prime Minister of Egypt. The testimony was to honor Joseph for what he did as a righteous deliverer, who in many ways prefigured the coming Messiah of Israel and the redemption that He would ultimately bring.

6 All of Yahweh's feasts are a role play of eternal truths in His eternal purposes and keep His redemptive plan before us.

7 B. Blow the shofar during New Moon & Feast Celebrations. Why Blow the shofar? The shofar is sounded to Awaken, Alert & Announce what God intends to do It is the only instrument the Bible reveals that God Himself uses!

9 1. It is the Sound of God s Voice Exo 19:16-19 When God first spoke to His people at Mount Sinai, the shofar preceded the release of His voice. It revealed His covenant to His people.

10 2. It is the Sound of Holy Spirit Acts 2:1-4 When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost He manifested the Mighty Voice (like that of a violent wind). It fully activated God s covenant in His people

11 3. It is the Sound of King Jesus Voice Revelation 1:10-18 Jesus speaks to John with the voice of a trumpet. It set the fulfillment of God s covenant with His People. 10 On the Lord s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said:.. Whenever the shofar is sounded, God wants to speak!! God wants to speak loud loud during New Moon & Feasts seasons!!

12 C. The Significance of the New Moon Celebration in the Bible The word used for New Moon in Hebrew is 'Rosh Chodesh' literally means beginning, head, or renewal and thus the beginning or head of the month. It is a time of spiritual renewal.

13 All through the scriptural record, the New Moon was a day when the prophets heard from Yahweh, being a day designated for waiting upon Yahweh, for discerning His purposes and for prophetic revelation.

15 Haggai 1:1 (NKJV) The Command to Build God s House 1 In the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, 哈该书 1:1 (CNVS) 责备人民拖延重建圣殿 1 大利乌王第二年六月一日, 耶和华的话借着哈该先知临到撒拉铁的儿子 犹大省长所罗巴伯, 和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚, 说 : They were days of assembly and God dealt with Israel at these times, speaking through His servants, the Prophets.

16 We are also told in the New Testament these days are prophetic and foreshadow future events. (Colossians 2:16-17) Colossians 2:16-17 (NKJV) 16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. 歌罗西书 2:16-17 (CNVS) 16 所以不要让人因着饮食 节期 月朔 安息日批评你们, 17 这些不过是将来的事的影子, 那真体却是属于基督的

17 The celebration of the new moon has great prophetic significance for Israel as the Bride of Yahweh. It was/is an appointed time of His choosing to give prophetic revelation to His people of His purposes for them. From the Jewish perspective: It is a time of fresh dedication of ourselves to Yahweh and of blessing Him and seeking His direction for the new month ahead. We also take this time to ask His blessings on the planned endeavors for the coming month.

18 How to Celebrate? These days are sanctified or set apart as days of sacrifice, for worship, for assembly and for us to make our spiritual offerings to Yahweh. (2 Chronicles 2:4; Nehemiah 10:33; Ezekiel 44:24; 45:17) Promise - Yahweh keeps His appointments with those who choose to meet with Him at His designated times and He enters His assembly at these times on these holy days of the Sabbaths and the New Moons to fulfill the spiritual reality of these feasts in the lives of His people. (Ezekiel 46: 1-6)

19 D. What about Firstfruits Offerings? Worship, rededicating ourselves to God as well as seeking Prophetic Revelations are elements in New Moon (Rosh Chodesh) Celebrations.

20 An important part of worship is giving Firstfruits Offerings. Deuteronomy 26:1-2 (NKJV) 26 And it shall be, when you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you possess it and dwell in it, 2 that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground, which you shall bring from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket and go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. 申命记 (CNVS) 26 将来 你进了耶和华你的 神赐给你作产业的地 占领那地 并且住在那里以后 2 就要从耶和华你的 神赐给你的地上 把地上各种初熟果子取些来 放在篮 子里 到耶和华你的 神选择立为他名的居所的地方

21 God s promise - Deuteronomy 26:19 (NKJV) 19 and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God, just as He has spoken. 申命记 26:19 (CNVS) 19 他又使你得称赞 名誉和尊贵, 超过他所造的列国之上, 并且照着他说过的使你作圣洁的子民, 归于耶和华你的神 Firstfruits giving is a key to living in the favor and prosperity of God!!

22 Why is Firstfruits important?? Not the largest gift of the year!! Firstfruits was often just one sheaf of wheat!! Yet it was key to massive blessing!! Speaks of faith for increase!!

23 Significance of Firstfruits giving Honors God as the Source!! A declaration that God has blessed you!! Sanctifies the rest of harvest. Rom 11:16. If the Firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy... Brings blessing. Ezekiel 44:30. 'Give the First portion...so a BLESSING may rest on your household' Gen 4:3-4. Cain brought 'Some' of his crops but Abel brought the 'First' of his flock!!

24 Proverbs 3:9-10 (NKJV) 9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. 箴言 3:9-10 (CNVS) 9 你要把你的财物, 和一切初熟的农作物, 敬奉耶和华 10 这样, 你的仓库必充满有余, 你的榨酒池也必盈溢新酒 When you give Firstfruits, God's blessing is on everything!!

25 Biblical examples of Firstfruits releasing Blessing... ~Abraham - willing to put Isaac on altar...>>> all promised blessings released to him!! ~Jericho - when spoils of 1st city given to the Lord, the rest of the land was theirs!!

26 ~Hannah - gave first son Samuel...>>> more sons...entire nation was transformed!! ~Jesus - God gave His firstborn Son...all promised blessings became ours!! Principle of Firstfruits is all thru the NT!! A deposit of more & better to come!

27 God wants us to develop a mentality of Firstfruits!! As the Firstfruits of our money releases God's blessing on our Finances... So Firstfruits of our Time releases His blessing on our time!! To release God's blessing on the new month, Israel would honor God by giving Him the Firstfruits of the month!!

28 E. Releasing God s Fruitfulness as we celebrate New Moon Celebrations Shofar is sounded >>> expect prophetic revelations and fresh renewals Firstfruits given of time, finance.expect Blessings & Increase, multiplication!!
