Our Vision of Strategic Leadership We see the church as a place for the empowerment and development of Spirit-filled leaders who will be strategically positioned and deployed within the Body of Christ. Every Trinitarian a leader with a ministry. LEAD was birthed to be catalytic in the formation and development of Christ-centered leaders. Going forward, I see Trinity as a church of strategic leaders effecting change in the society and nation. Senior Pastor Dominic Yeo What is LEAD? LEAD stands for Leaders Empowerment and Discipleship. It is based on a Christ-centered leadership model that is expressed through the 3Ps of development (Person, Pespective and Practice), until Christ is formed in us (Galatians 4:19b). 3 LEAD develops you holistically through the 3Ps : Person (who you are) Your identity in Christ, character and values Perspective (how you think) Your view of God, church, self, people and the world Practice (what you do) Your speech and actions in daily life LEAD develops you through a two-pronged approach: 1) Leadership Development Paradigm We believe that every Trinitarian can be a leader, an effective change agent of his/her environment. LEAD helps one to discover and develop their God-given potential, so that they can be positioned and deployed within their sphere of influence for godly impact. 2) Learner-focused Teaching Philosophy We believe that everyone does not come into the class with zero experiences; they carry with them life experiences, expertise and knowledge. As a commissioned Spiritual Parent, you have experienced the joy, privilege and responsibility of evangelism and nurturing. You have already multiplied yourself. Now, be equipped to multiply your carecell! I ve definitely grown more in the technical knowledge of facilitating carecells and also refined my skills in nurturing people. I now have a greater conviction in leading people and discipling them. The Holy Spirit is also fully God, enabling us to live with the same power that Jesus had while He was on earth. I learned how to build my relationship with the Holy Spirit in practical ways, and how to sense and recognize His presence. 15 PV24 Preparation for Missions Impact Team Pre-requisite: Missions Impact Team candidates embarking on Trinity-led missions trips are required to complete this course before registering for missions trip. The world. My mission. Where do I start? How do I get ready? Understand God s passionate heart for both global and local missions in Trinity and be equipped for cross-cultural evangelism and ministry in missions. This course has widened my perspective of missions, and I now have a better understanding of how Trinity is contributing to the mission fields. 16 PN20 Before You Say Yes Coming up next quarter Pre-requisite: This course is a pre-requisite for couples wanting to get married in Trinity Christian Centre. Couples intending to marry must complete this course at least a year in advance. Are you ready for the wedding, but unprepared for marriage a permanent union of your lives? A wedding lasts a day, but marriage is for life. Through this course, you will understand God s divine purpose for marriage. Discover each other s expectations and understand your respective roles while prayerfully evaluating your relationship in regard to your personalities and family backgrounds. You will be guided on how to manage marital issues, including financial management, your relationship with your in-laws, family planning and much more.
