6 Motzei Shabbat, 7 th July at 8pm, Beit Haroeh invites you to An Evening with Alan Freedman The Voice of J-Air s Nothing Left In conversation with Anthony Gosling. Alan Freedman has been involved in Israel advocacy for the last 20yrs. He started by writing of letters to the editor of the Age, and was regularly published, when that newspaper wasn t so hostile to Israel. Alan is co-host of the radio program Nothing Left on J-AIR Jewish community radio which airs weekly on a Tuesday morning from 9 11am. This top rating show on J-AIR discusses issues around Israel advocacy and other Jewish issues, both national and from around the world, but not from a left-wing perspective. Over the last 6mths, he has been actively involved in the formation and rollout of the Australian Jewish Association which seeks to represent those Jews with beliefs based on Torah principles and/or politically conservative values. Alan is currently on the board of the AJA. When he has time to work, Alan is a clinical pharmacist conducting medication reviews for people in the community, and residents of aged care homes. Anthony will be preparing the conversation and welcomes your topic suggestions and questions.
