So Subahanallah alhamdulillah that we can share the knowledge of Allah subahanawatha'la together!

1 AL HAAFIDH AL HAFEEDH 27TH SEPTEMBER 2011 Subahanallah when you look at the names of Allah subahanawatha'la by itself it is a pleasure of the life! Alhamdulillah that Allah subahanawatha'la did good to u in order that he never let us to leave this dhunya without knowing the names of Allah subahanawatha'la! Now sister Emaan when she met up with some mothers who had disabled children and they apparently have a group meet up to share issues and discuss things that they go through etc It was like a support group- where they spoke of ways to overcome their problems etc and they said that they didn t find peace in their hearts, no matter how much they met up and discussed their problems, until they started speaking and learning of Allah subahanawatha'la! That these names are a means of a cure for all of our problems! Anything! Physical or psychological or anything! The names of Allah are the cure! There was a lady who was there and her son who is disabled can speak only 3 wordsmama, baba and Allah! And the mother said that it was enough for her that he knew Allah! So Subahanallah what about us! Alhamdulillah we are talking and listening and seeing and feeling and thinking and walking and Subahanallah imagine all these blessings we have on our limbs! And how responsible we are for them! So Subahanallah alhamdulillah that we can share the knowledge of Allah subahanawatha'la together! Now inshallah with the name al Haafidh al Hafeedh! Where Allah subahanawatha'la will appreciate the little good you do and he will keep it and guard it for you and never forget it! So Allah subahanawatha'la is the one who will never forget! He will know it and keep it for you and preserve it! So Subahanallah how much Allah subahanawatha'la will appreciate it for us! And us as humans we wait for humans to appreciate us and all but when we know Allah subahanawatha'la as al Hafeedh then we will wait for his praise! So if you do good deeds he will never forget and he will keep it for you in order to recompense you in the Day of Judgment! What else from preserving?

2 Also the sins Allah subahanawatha'la will never forget the sins! How? E.g.: you talk bad of someone or oppress them or something. What will happen? 2 things: Either you will go through the same situation in the life where someone will do the same thing you did to you! Or you will get your recompense in the hereafter! So Subahanallah sometimes we oppress people and say bad about people and sometimes we see maybe it s not even us who get oppressed but maybe our kids or husband or someone! So Allah subahanawatha'la will preserve even our sin and keep it for how long! There was a man who- his son was so big but used to abuse him and hit him and all but when people came to stop it the man said not to because he used to do the same to his own father!!!!!! This is the nurturing! And this is out of Allah's Rahma because it is better to be nurtured here than on the day of judgement! Because on that day the people whom you transgressed their rights, they will come and take all your hasanaat! So even the smallest thing Allah subahanawatha'la will preserve it! That was the first meaning of the name al Hafeedh! So the first meaning will have the impact of: * Hope- where you hope he will never forget your sins * Fear- afraid he will preserve your sins 2nd meaning: from Guarding! From the word harasaah- which means guarding! So Subahanallah when we think of the real guardian and the real one who will protect us and the source of our help then who will we ask the guarding and protection from? Allah! So now us humans whatever we have we always want to guard it right until we are sure that it is protected 100%! Take money- where when Allah subahanawatha'la gave you

3 money then you want to protect it so you put it in a bank or invest it or something right! So we seek this protection and it is a natural feeling! E.g.: when you are healthy what naturally comes to mind/ you want to protect your health right! E.g.: if you are old and you want to reduce the wrinkles what will you do? Put creams and all to protect our skin right! And everything we see in the market is for protections: for the hair or skin or weight or something right! So Subahanallah when you have a blessing naturally you want to protect it right! So But always we go to the means right! How much we depend on the non-fat milk and the creams and etc..sometimes when the medicines go out of stock how much do we panic right! But we are seeking this protection from something wrong! Wrong where our heart depends too much on it! Now with regards to how babies were delivered- in the olden days the babies were delivered was at home! But now the more we increase in technology the more there are complications and why is this? Because we rely too much on the means and hence everything fails! So the moment our heart gets too attached to the means then we will fail and the thing we are trying to protect we won t get to protect it properly! Where is the problem? WE ARE SEEKING THE PROTECTION FROM THE MEANS! Believe me if you know the real Hafeedh this will make it so easy for you and you won t busy your mind knowing about anything else! And al Haafidh in his hands is the protection! And automatically when you know Allah is al Hafeedh then you will seek the protection from Allah subahanawatha'la alone and you won t depend on anyone or anything else to protect you! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that

4 can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursî.] Even the heaven and the earth and what is in it we need to seek the protection! Where Allah made the samaa h a ceiling right! And they said that everything is protected by Allah subahanawatha'la because everything is in harmony in the universe right! So ok. We say that Allah subahanawatha'la protects the heaven and the earth and everything right! But then we asked: WHY DO WE HAVE OZONE HOLE OR VOLCANOES AND PROBLEMS ON EARTH?? Now people have predictions where they say that this comet will strike and that problem will happen and the earth will explode etc.don t believe in it! Because Allah subahanawatha'la said that he will protect and guard the heaven and the earth! Because even the Day of Judgment before it comes there will be a wind that will come and take the souls of all the believers and leave only the people who don t have an atom of belief in their hearts! So what about volcanoes and earthquakes? It s not because Allah subahanawatha'la is not protecting the heavens and the earth but instead it is a CONSEQUENCE OF PEOPLE S SINS!!!! Surah Ar-Rum ayat 41 š y t u v Sr H R T اT H ي P x j nا u v x y T P y rن ظv اg k p Tد V f اT و اW T k g j t أm r ي اCT g س Evil (sins and disobedience to Allâh) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds), that He (Allâh) may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allâh, and begging His Pardon). When we see natural disasters it doesn t mean that Allah subahanawatha'la is snot protecting the heavens and the earth but instead it happens because of all the sins of the people on the earth and as a consequence this happens!!!! In order to get the people to turn back to Allah subahanawatha'la!

5 So keep asking for forgiveness! This is the key! Continuously ask of it because this is what will protect you from these natural disasters! This is why when we know that Allah subahanawatha'la is protecting the heavens and the earth what else will we do than to seek his protection! What else can Allah subahanawatha'la protect that no one else can? THE RELIGION AND Quran AND SUNNAH! Allah subahanawatha'la took charge in guarding the deen and Quran and Sunnah from additions and innovations! This will really make us to magnify Allah right! Imagine for Allah subahanawatha'la to be able to take care and protect such a huge responsibility! Even the Quran Subahanallah it is such a miracle that Allah subahanawatha'la has preserved it so well And if anyone tries to change it Allah subahanawatha'la will expose the person! So Subahanallah we see that Allah subahanawatha'la is the real Haafidh! In Kuwait there was once when they printed the Quran and there was a mistake in it and alhamdulillah someone found it and he pointed it out!!! So how is our Rabb! So Allah subahanawatha'la protected all of this for whom? For us! For us humans so that we will live in this life with peace! So that we can be busy worshipping Allah! Don t go worrying about the sky and if it will fall and the comets will come and destroy us etc no! We need to just busy our lives worshipping Allah subahanawatha'la! Even the Quran and Sunnah has been protected for us so that we are not at a loss to aid us in the worship directed towards him! So ask your self- where is Allah in your life? What are you doing in your life? Don t say oh I am so bored I don t have work to do etc.children say to mothers- oh mama what will you do? You don t have anything to study or do and you are so lucky and you just have to look after us and maybe you are having fun etc. But what is our job? Abdullah! This is such an honour to have this title! This is my job! Slave of Allah! And when we are like this we will find success in this life and the hereafter! So this is our job! We are Abdullah s in everything we do! And this is why Allah subahanawatha'la protected everything for us! Surah Al Hijr ayat 9

6 إl g l ` W l g C Tœ اT H و إl g P fg W Tن T ] Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) So Subahanallah this is affirmation! And some ask why are people not guided? Because they are not truthful about their guidance and they are blindly following! So we need to deal with Allah with yaqeen! And not to deal with Him with doubts. Because if we want to find fault in the Quran we will find it! But if you really want to follow the Sunnah and the Quran then Allah subahanawatha'la will see the truth in your heart and he will protect you and guide you! So Subahanallah even when Allah subahanawatha'la revealed the Quran the first place Allah subahanawatha'la he protected the Quran from the shayateen and jinn! As said in Surah Al Jinn- ayat 8-9 و } g v و أl g g C k j T اT g jkء g ھg l m P f } mr m ا g E ƒ x a 'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. 9. ` j f o jk x T m ng S a g v C a m y S l g C و أl g ر m ا g tg v { [ T m r ا ن o j k r 'And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. Subahanallah so these jinn and shayateen before they used to check and see but after Allah subahanawatha'la revealed the Quran they were prevented from viewing the Quran and causing mischief! So Subahanallah we really feel like Allah subahanawatha'la deserves so much more and we need to do more as slaves! We want to do more shukr but then we feel like it s not enough that Allah needs more! So Subahanallah the dhunya and the Quran and Sunnah and the deen is all protected for who? HUMANS! Now something else also Allah subahanawatha'la will protect? 1. He will directly protect us humans! This is a general protection! He Allah az'awajal took charge in guarding the human beings! Everything you are afraid of Allah subahanawatha'la took charge of guarding all of the humans- believers and disbelievers! So all of them Allah subahanawatha'la will guard them!

7 How? Now we are in the life we don t know but there is so much of harm.take the air. Isn t there viruses in the air? And even the rain maybe it could be acidic? Sometimes there were things created that we cannot see and they can harm us right! And alhamdulillah we cannot see it because Allah subahanawatha'la took care of it and protected us from it! Alhamdulillah we cannot see the bacteria! Because if we do then we will have this Waswaas! Always washing with Dettol etc.! So Subahanallah we realize that He protects us form what we cannot see! Sometimes we are protected from big things also right! E.g.: one child will fall on something but it is so sharp but it won t harm the kid! So how did this happen? The angels prevented the person from getting seriously injured! So Allah subahanawatha'la he took charge to guard the humans with His angels! Bu if we have accidents and all and we are harmed- this is the decree of Allah! 100% there may be chances of bad things happening but 100% it doesn t mean you will go into an accident and get injured badly right! So Subahanallah these angels are not just for the believers but the disbelievers! One lady she embraced Islam and why? Because she was in an accident and was about to die and then she was saved and realized that there was someone who was responsible in protecting her and someone who saved her and that there is a creator! So there are so many things that can harm us- rays and virus and bacteria and all but who can protect us? Allah! How? Through the angels! And these angels Subahanallah how much they were worshipping Allah subahanawatha'la and worshipping Allah and then finally Allah subahanawatha'la gave them the responsibility to look after the human and then to see to the rain and look after the mother and to send the Ruh to the baby etc.imagine Allah subahanawatha'la made the angels to work for us! Like bodyguards!

8 And this is for everyone not just believers! And it s not like they chose to be like this? But because Allah subahanawatha'la assigned for them these responsibilities! Now how did Allah subahanawatha'la give the angels these responsibilities? Surah Ra ad ayat 11 الله إ ن الله R r M P S t g a م ƒ R r وا S y a g ت [ T [ r m r ` R t ` a وa ` ` a [ lp p W r [ p x I و إ ذ ا أ ر اد الله أa u v k p l K t g a وg a ` a u v T د وl ] ` a و ال P S t م P Eء ا a f د [ T For him (each person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the Command of Allâh. Verily! Allâh will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allâh). But when Allâh wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector. How these angels are protecting the human beings! That everyone has an angel who will follow them around- and they will be all around and they will guard the human as long as the decree doesn t come! And when the decree of Allah comes then they won t protect the human! So this is a general protection for everyone- where the angels protect the humans from all the harms whether we know or not and this is from Allah subahanawatha'la! And this will make us to have what ibadah? Husnu dhanni billah! Think good of Allah! What you think of Allah he will give for you in the same way! If you think he will protect you then he will! So deal with Allah with certainty! When we always think good of Allah then the good will come to you and when you think bad then the bad will only come to you! So deal with Allah subahanawatha'la like he is al Hafeedh! Because this name Hafeedh will help the people form having Waswaas of the future! Where some may have this phobia- oh I can t leave the house maybe I might die or I can t let my kids go with anyone but me because maybe you are not good at driving and you will have an accident and kill them etc. So the best cure is to learn about Allah's name AL HAFEEDH!

9 That s why Ayatul Kursi we read for protection- why? Because Allah subahanawatha'la took charge of the protection of the heaven and the earth and it s not ayat kuris that will protect us but Allah subahanawatha'la! There was a story- One girl was studying Quran or something and then it was late and she was scared to go out because it is dangerous to go out that late. So she was scared and she read ayat Kursi! And then while she was going she saw a man who was looking at her and he didn t seem like a good character! But the man he saw her and he looked very scared. Then afterward in the papers she saw that there was a rape on that same street she walked and it happened a few minutes after she went by and they were asking for a witness! So she went and she saw that very man and she was shocked! Then she wanted to speak to the man and then she went and asked him- you saw me that day right? So why didn t you come close to me? And the man said: how can I come close to you because there were two tall men near you right! Who were they? The angels! Allah sent the angels for protection! So deal with Allah with yaqeen and he will grant you the protection from what you see and what you don t!
