All praise is due to Allah for His encompassing favours and perfect kindness. We thank Him also for helping us to stand for prayer in the nights of Ramadan and fast its days. I bear witness that there is deity save Allah, having no associates. I also bear witness that our Master Muhammad is the Servant of Allah and His Messenger. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his pure blessed family and companions, and all those who follow them in righteousness till the Day of Judgment.

(47:17) Ramadan is a school wherein Muslims see their behaviour refined, character elevated, development of patience, Taqwa and Shukr ص م ش ر الصب ر م ض ان Observe fasting in the month of patience, Ramadan. In Ramadan we strive to pray on time, & with Jamaat, hasten to do charitable acts & race towards all that is virtuous. We show politeness & purity & display humbleness. After the end of the sacred month, we must maintain this, otherwise it will all be wasted.

4 Whilst Ramadan may be departing, it leaves with us the most precious treasure of all the Qur an the Kalaam of Allah ق ان ر ف د ى و ات ن و ال ي ي ب اس و لي ر آن دى ل م ض ان اذل ي أ ىز ل ف ي الق ش ر ر The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur'an was revealed, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion (2:185) و ن ت ع ل م الق رآن و ع ل ه ك م خ ري The best of you, is the one who learns the Qur an and teaches it. Throughout Ramadan, every day after Asr we have been studying the Qur an, learning the Surahs, why and how they were revealed, discussing particular verses and uncovering the rewards for reciting each Surah. 8 EID AL-FITR WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON SATURDAY AFTER MAGHRIB 1. The Eid prayer should be attended by everyone, men and women, young and old 2. Eat/drink before coming to the Masjid, dates or water 3.
